1. What’s the song you sing in the shower?

Eeeeeee. I always put my phone in a ziplock bag and put on Pandora with me in the shower! I guess whatever is playing I’ll sing along. For the longest time however I would skip Pandora and just put on the Frozen soundtrack lol

2. What’s the topic of the last Youtube video you watched?

Hmm, well it was “Hell” by Boy Epic. It’s a music video to a song he wrote as a prequel to “Say Something” by A Great Big World (Which he covered as well) So, from watching it just once, I suppose it’s about the relationship leading up to the desperate attempts at reconciliation during the inevitable breakup. It’s quite dark and actually made me rethink the entire Say Something cover video altogether. I guess that means he did a good job :)

3. Favorite color?

I like blues and greens, but lately I’ve been liking purple. This would be a much harder question if I had synesthesia. Or maybe easier…

4. Do you feel patriotic with the Olympics going on?

I definitely did during the summer games, although I cheered for a few other countries too. Unfortunately, I missed the Opening Ceremony last night because I was too tired to stay up, but yeah, I’m still hoping America has lots of fun and brings home medals! :)

5. Do you like video games?

Oh, Kathryn. You’ve just opened up a big box of thoughts, haha. Yes! I like video games. Now, if only I could play video games as much as I like them. I just never have the time anymore. I mostly just play Pokemon nowadays but I grew up with so much more with my brother. Besides Pokemon, there was: (SNES) Super Mario World, Mortal Kombat [every snes game lol], Clayfighter, Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, the Wrestlemania Arcade game, Killer Instinct, Toy Story, and the Aladdin video game (a personal favorite) (N64) Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Konker’s Bad Fur Day, and WWF No Mercy [My brother sold the console to make some extra money without consulting me, so we didn’t get to play as many games as I would have liked] (PS2) Smackdown 2, Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, Smackdown vs. Raw [all the way up to 2008’s game], every Mortal Kombat available for PS2 including Deception and MK vs. DC, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and probably many others because we literally played that system every day OH AND THE FIRST GAME THAT CAME WITH THE CONSOLE WHICH WAS BEAR AND THE BIG BLUE HOUSE WHICH I LOVED SO MUCH. Kind of a change from the perpetual violence, haha. (Xbox 360) Okay so we never really played xbox that much. I mostly played Guitar Hero 4 and Kung Fu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones because the last two came with the system. My brother never played it except for Marvel Ultimate Alliance because the 360 version had different downloadable characters [he still prefers the PS2 version though] (Nintendo DS/DSi) Again Pokemon, Sims, Sims 2, Brain Age 2, Scribblenauts, Rhythm Heaven, Cooking Mama 1 & 2, Ninja Town, Mario Kart, Super Princess Peach, and probably more that I downloaded onto my R4. Sadly, when I upgraded to the DSi, the R4 would no longer work due to incompatibility. So it’s been a while. And now I only have my pokemon games and Sims 2, which were the only ones not on the R4.

6. Favorite movie?

Gosh, I hate picking favorites when it comes to movies, Tv, and music. Because there’s so many that I really really love, but you can’t really compare them to each other because I love them for different reasons! My current favorite is Frozen. But I really just love any Disney movie. Also, I love Marvel Studios movies and some DC ones too (basically just the Dark Knight trilogy). On a very unrelated topic, I always stop what I’m doing when Sharkboy and Lavagirl is on Tv. Always.

7. Do you have a box with random stuff like old movie tickets or notes in it?

Yes! Although I wouldn’t call the contents random. I never take it out much anymore but when my dad was in prison in Kansas, I kept every letter he sent me in a big yellow shoebox. Every letter, picture, drawing, comic strip from the Sunday paper, and anything in between went into that box. He even wrote and illustrated a book about me and sent it [and later a sequel] in a big orange envelope. He didn’t know I kept the box until a years after he came home, on the anniversary. It helped me through a lot of troubles and reminded me that there was always at least one person who would care about me for as long as I’m alive.

8. What was your favorite stuffed animal you had when you were a kid?

Back when Build-A-Bear first started appearing in the malls, I made a little guy in Michigan and named him Browser [this is his real name, I kid you not.] and he was my bestest friend for the longest time. He’s a regular light brown teddy bear with short curly fur, and you can tell he’s an early model because they don’t make his kind anymore, haha. Everything about him is outdated compared to the current BAB stuff. His big, all black eyes, the fur itself, his voice box, and his old t-shirt that read “Someone in Michigan loves me bear-y much!”. He can say 6 phrases that I still have memorized because, well, I never got rid of him. He’s still in my room on my bed! Which is totally normal for an 18 year old girl, right?

9. What time is your alarm set for?

6am on weekdays and 8am on Sunday! Now that I use the Pandora app for my alarm, IT ACTUALLY WORKS IN GETTING ME OUT OF BED and not going back to sleep. I use the Indie Dance Radio station :) And just in case they don’t work or the wifi knocks out, I have normal alarms as backups set fifteen minutes later.

10. Do you wanna build a snowman?

YES. ALWAYS.

11. Favorite pokemon?

OH GOSH I HAVE TO CHOOSE? Ughhhh no. I’ll choose my favorite type instead, which is Grass [but also water] because of all the powerful moves you can use. In White, I have a Lilligant that knows Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, Mega Drain, and Synthesis. And I usually use them in that order for a foolproof victory!
