I wish the BBC Robin Hood had a spinoff series that was just about Djaq and Will and their life together after they left the gang.
And Djaq tends pigeons and Will carves bows and arrows for the local boys to practice archery. Sometimes, Will goes far away and then runs back to Djaq as quickly as he can and then swoops her up in his gangly arms and tells her that he's a pigeon, too, who can travel faster and straighter than any other man to get back to his love. And she would laugh at that 'cause she likes when he's cheesy.
They'd go to family dinners at her family's house, and he'd think the food was a little too spicy but he wouldn't say anything 'cause the in-laws always mock him for being "the pale one."
Djaq would sometimes get tired of wearing dresses and Will would sometimes get tired of being clean, so they'd camp out in a cave and reminisce. Sometimes, when they start getting really nostalgic, they'd swipe things from one another and harvest food to take to the poor. Sometimes they'd fight one another, not because they have anything to fight about but just b'cause they fell in love with how one another fought.
When one of them would come home from work, the other would joke, "I thought you'd been captured!" And they'd wonder about their old friends and if any of them were still kickin'.
In other news, sometimes when I do my Robin Hood workout, it's really rough and wears me out quick, so I spend the last fifteen or so minutes doing the occasional sit up or a set of jumping jacks but mostly just picturing what it would be like if Djaq and Will got a spinoff. (Will and Djaq are basically my favorites.)
On the other hand, Djaq and Will prove that some BBC writers have souls.
