Edward James Hale: a kind, gentle, sweet man. 48. A coroner, and Lives on his own and studies by himself late at night. Teaches a morning class on studying cadavers, how the organs work together, and surgery. Has become friends with Alexander and Edith and welcomes them into his home. Hale is quite charming, and once you become friends with him you won’t experience anything but the most pleasant period of time you’ve had all day. He may look fluffy and cute but it is a wise decisiion to not make him mad, the man is stronger than he looks and when he was younger he used to sneak out and go boxing, he was good too! When Hale and his partner at the time had found out she was pregnant, he immediately decided that the best decision was marriage so they could raise the baby, however things didn’t quite work out that way. The bride to be had left for 9 months, leaving Hale a heartbroken mess and a disappointed wishful father. When she returned, she broke into his home and left the baby on his bed shortly before he was to come home from work and left. Hale, now the father he had wished to be months ago, took on raising his daughter with delight and tender care. He missed his fiance, but came to terms with ’re fact that she clearly couldn’t, or didn’t want to raise their daughter. Hale found another partner later on, and the two men raised willow together who is now studying abroad. His male partner also took off for school across the country, but writes hale letters to keep him reminded that he still loves him. Likes his daughter Willow, food he hasn’t cooked (hale is not a good cook), reading, teaching, sleep. Dislikes arguements, obnoxious childish behavior, excuses, luce, being insanely tired.
Clyde Bernard Baker(?): a mysterious mortician, friends with hale due to their business. 45. Anyone who sees him at night is only met with curiosity and suspicion. He leaves his workplace in a dark cloak and a bolar hat. Those that do see him tend to not think much given his profession, he’s probably going to talk to ghosts or something, ha! However others have considered following, but decided against it except for children. Clyde is a quiet, reserved man, only speaking in short necessary bursts. He displays his kindness in subtle ways, and hale knows it. Clyde will sometimes buy hale meat or bakery goods, or tea. As well as offer to buy lunch to discuss business or organize his dishes when he isn’t looking. Likes Hale, Silence, Distractions, visiting his ex wife Clara, practicing his magic. Dislikes being touched, startling noises, Alexander and Edith.
William Trace Allen: Toospoopy, Really though. By day, a chemistry and magic professor, and a nervous wreck but is quite good at fooling others into thinking he’s just fine. He doesn’t have the time of day to really do things he enjoys. It’s mostly all work, no play for him. Accompanied by a nervous stutter, and constant anxiety, communicating with him can be difficult at times. He tends to speak in only short phrases, and never goes into his personal life, asked or not. The only time he’s completely calm is for a short period after smoking, and while bathing listening to his music. Even that’s a stretch though. Prior to an incident two years ago,he was pleasant and charmingly gentle. His anxiety was a constant before and after, but he managed it better. By night he is a witty, and curious man, determined to study magic to his best understanding and see if he can’t make his state a permanent one.Likes classical music, orchestra, coffee, tea, chewing on pens or pencils, quiet time. Dislikes overwhelming noises, prodding pushing or invasive questions, being touched, being shouted at.
