In which we try to remember who everyone is...

We’re back at the Gonzales-Redcliffe penthouse in San Myshuno, and pleased to see the maid is hard a work!

In which Gemma and Atticus finally hit the teen years...

It’s time for a double birthday, and another little party to celebrate!

Gemma: “He’s just sooo dreamy!”

This time we invited Franny on purpose, kekekeke.

By any standard of measure, it could be said that Alejandro Gonzales and William Redcliffe led a charmed life.

William was a successful surgical resident at the swankiest beach side hospital in Brindleton Bay.

And in his leisure time, he enjoyed cultivating rare species of flora, for which he always won many accolades from the local gardening association.

Alejandro was a brilliant scientist, who spent his days developing the latest in medical resources.

He was also keen on architecture, in his spare time, and had designed and built their posh Koren-influenced home after a summer abroad in Seoul. 

But despite wealth, success, and a strong marriage, the Gonzales-Redcliffe’s were forlorn without the children they craved so desperately.

They tried to distract themselves with lavish vacations to their favourite resorts in Sulani.

And when they had to be at home, they filled every corner of their days with as much activity as possible.

Naturally, they had considered adoption and surrogacy, but for whatever reason, fate chose to be cruel in this one area of their lives...

...and they were never able to settle on a suitable candidate, despite a myriad of interviews.

Until one day, they met a young concert pianist, Nafretiri Scholar.  Brilliant and lovely, she was willing to donate eggs in exchange for having her school debt paid for.  It was an arrangement that suited all parties immensely.

And for the first time in years, Al and Will were hopeful for their family’s future.

I hope you all enjoy my unorthodox little family!  Both Will and Al will be having test tube babies with our sweet Nafi, all legit and biological and totally left up to nature!

Apparently, Tony feels like he didn’t get enough screen time today?  He shows up at the hospital during Will’s shift, with Mayua in tow.

Tony: “Do you perform psych evaluations here?”

Will: “It’s incredible!”

Al: “I wanted you to see it before I reveal it to my work colleagues tomorrow.”

Normally Al didn’t allow any visitations to his private home laboratory (for safety reasons, of course), but this was a very special occasion!

Will: “Alejandro, I’m so proud of you!  This is going to make so many people’s dreams come true!”

Al: “Yeah, I guess it will... truth be told, though, I was just thinking about our dreams.”

Will: “Well, whatever the motivation, it’s truly the achievement of a lifetime!  When can we-- you know, try it out?!”

Al: “I’ve already added two fertilized eggs; one of yours and one of mine.  We’ll have twins in less than a year, well, kind of twins.”

And sure enough, in about 40 weeks, two healthy fetuses were ripe for the harvesting!  

Atticus clearly had Will’s blue eyes, and despite the sour face seen here, was a sweet, careful little fellow with naturally nice manners.

Gemma, however, was hell reborn in little girl form.  Will liked to tease Al that he must have exposed himself to some sort of chemical to have fathered a strange little creature like their daughter. Al, of course, blames the equipment (not his).

Either way, welcome to the legacy crossover Gemma and Atticus!

Dr. Redcliffe is really starting to fill out!  All the shoulder and bicep areas of his tailored shirts are beginning to look...snug O..O (he knows he’s cute, look at this guy).

Will: “Ehehehe, shy selfie!”

His progeny, Atticus, it slightly ahead of Gemma in skilling, probably because he’s happy to sit and learn until he’s starving and ready to pee himself.

Alejandro agrees to work out with Will in their snazzy home gym (that he insisted upon)... Franny he is not.

Will’s just showing off on that treadmill, but Al doesn’t seem to mind, lol.

Man, Rocco really comes into the hospital a lot!  Will wades through ear wax and saliva samples and finally gets that promotion he’s been hoping for!

Pretend he looks happy instead of perplexed by the rain.
