the entire sequence where hannibal picks a card/cooks the organ/puts it in his fridge/rinse & repeat set to classical music? absolute perfection.

if you looked up 'dramatic irony' in the dictionary you would see a picture of hannibal lecter's FACE.

i don't know what's going on with franklin's relationship with hannibal but it's getting bizarre but i like where it's going? like it would be interesting to see if franklin really does develop sexual feelings for hannibal and he's just nOPE and kills him as a result of the awkwardness and such. (but if he did that a la ripper style that would DIRECTLY LINK the ripper to hannibal and that would be SLOPPY HANNIBAL YOU CAN'T DO THAT so he will have to wash his hands of franklin in some way. but i think it's interesting that this can of worms is being opened... yeah.)

hannibal getting lonely and looking up will in his ledger is priceless because IT IS SHOWING HIS GROWING RELATIONSHIP WITH WILL and i think he's letting it get the better of him? i know he's still manipulating will and shit but part of me wants to believe that he is actually developing feelings of friendship for him?? it's like he did with clarice. he values will and appreciates him and on some level he can really connect with will. even if its talking about the ripper and who he is (LOLOL it's u hanny hehehe) i think it's a way in which he can get close to will and idk. i just sense hannibal's loneliness and this is the first episode i think where hannibal has willingly entered will's domain and they are there together talking and analyzing the photographs and yeah. i just like how this relationship is slowly building because WHEN HANNIBAL IS REVEALED TO BE THE CHESAPEAKE RIPPER OOPS WELL THERE GOES THAT it will just be interesting to see how will handes it.

also alanna/hannibal implications - i mean other people were like oOoOoh look at them ~ but i sort of enjoy that their friendship has been long standing and that they do have a sort of history with one another. also how alanna is becoming more and more friendly with hannibal with her own private selection of beer and shit. i really like that they act as equals and how she is even helping hannibal prepare meals. guuuurl you don't know what it is that you are touching WATCH OUT.

i am enjoying seeing jack crawford psychologically tear himself apart. i just find it interesting to see that despite his tough exterior these little deaths are just cracks in his crumbling sanity and how hannibal is really twisting the knife in his heart inch by inch and it just drives jack even more to catch the ripper... i think hannibal is underestimating jack's potential embittered anger and i think he's pushing the envelope too hard... the fact that jack is having visions of the cellphone ringing and will as a victim coming back to life are showing seriously mental collapses that are pushing jack to the edge and things aren't going to get pretty when he snaps and really goes balls to the walls with catching the ripper.

again i'm loving the will/hannibal dependency and their talks about the ripper and it's just going to HURT SO MUCH WHEN THE TIME COMES.

i like gillian anderson and the fact hannibal has his own psychiatrist and how she can see he is wearing a 'human veil' and u g h he is only showing her a version of himself and just yeah.

also his outfits in this episode are f a b.

i just want to know what's going to happen with franklin because he's just hitting on hannibal and hannibal doesn't know what to do and he can't really address the situation without thoroughly compromising himself and UGH DILEMMAS ~
