Okay, I know this is twice tonight with crack Nevermore ideas, but here me out. One of the reasons Ada is so quick to show she's sophisticated and girly is because she actually wants nothing more than to be a man. Alright, so transmasc Ada, but this is after Prospero broke her heart, and Montressor manipulated her, and now he's just done with love and wants to find himself and finally feel comfortable in his own skin. Well, guess who also ends up having his heart broken by Montressor? Right, so Will and Ada bond over their trouble with guys and their now mutual hatred/hurt over Montressor. They get closer and closer, both yearning for companionship and love, so here they are, finding that in one another. Sometimes, the strongest bond forms between two people who've never truly felt loved before and are yearning to give each other all the love that's been wasting away inside them. They can understand each other and sympathize with their feelings of rejection and never quite feeling good enough. Basically, transmasc Ada x Will guys.
