it's too quiet, the sound of the rain softly hitting against the window is the only thing that's making a noise, you turn and look at him. feeling your gaze, choso looks up from his phone, the two of you falling into a staring contest.
he's the first to break the silence, "what?" you shrug, not really knowing the reason why you stared at him in the first place. your eyes roam around the room and land on the piano.
you stand up walking towards it, choso's eyes following your every movement. "can you play for me?" you look over your shoulder while your fingers graze over the keys.
choso is quick to follow your request, sitting down beside you, "any song you like in mind?" he softly smiles while glancing at you, his fingers getting familiar with the keys.
"surprise me," you lovingly rub on his arm. he holds your head close, leaving a kiss on your temple before starting the song he has in mind. your eyes light up, familiar with the song.
you clear your throat wanting to join him, "wise men says.." a smile evident on his face, eyes lock on you, glancing at the keys once in a while. "only fools rush in," your voice lingering, bouncing off the enclosed four walls.
taking your eyes off him, you watch as his fingers majestically move across the keyboard. he motions for you to join in, one hand continues to play the song while the other hand guides yours in the right spot.
both of you swaying a little, fingers tapping on the right keys, you look over his side. the way his fingers gently press the keys is stunning, especially with the wedding ring glinting on his ring finger.
you look up to him, smiling widely. as the chorus comes in, your voices mix together turning the song into a duet.
