WILD VIOLET TEA •Mason Jar •Wild Violets (clean & chemical free) •Filtered Water •Honey (optional) ••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Go into your yard or garden and pick wild violets! Flower and stem okay. Make sure to pick from areas that are natural and don’t have any chemical spray. Put wild violets in mason jar and wash clean. Then fill the mason jar with filtered water, screw on the lid, and set in the sunshine for at least a few hours. We let ours sit for 24 hours! Drain and drink cool- can be over ice or warmed with a spot of honey. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Wild violets strengthen the immune system and reduce inflammation. They are also an antiseptic (so can be used topically) and are a mild laxative. They help many spring ailments (which is why they grow in the spring!) such as sore throat, colds, sinus infections and respiratory conditions. *you can also pick some, wash them and dry them in the sun to use later on in the year as a tea, or eat fresh on top of salad! #thelightclinic #wildviolettea #violet #violets #violettea #naturemedicine #naturalmedicine #wildfood #wildflowers #foragedfood #nutrition #wellness #plantoverprocessed #holistichealth #holisticmedicine #homeremedies (at Frankfort, Kentucky) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_XqyBVgREF/?igshid=fmn3qaui0sgj
