Read the latest chapter of @wildly-empty‘s marble hornets fic “The Thing in Rosswood”, and was trying to think of Jay’s thought process for this specific purchase.
The fic has been blast to read and I love learning more about the characters with each chapter. I tried drawing how I think the Third looks, too!

asking about your gay fic 👀
thank you so so much!
I talked a little bit about it in the last ask so I'll try to avoid repeating myself too much, but it's about two junior league hockey players in the '80s, based off the movie Youngblood (1986) (I can't say it's good, exactly, because that doesn't really do it justice. More like it's objectively mediocre but it's like it was specifically written to scratch every itch in my brain.)
Dean's a farm boy from upstate New York who chases his dream of playing hockey to the Hamilton Mustangs, an OHL team just over the border. He's a little naive, has very little sense of self-preservation, and is determined to prove himself at any cost. Derek "Sudsy" Sutton is the captain of the Mustangs. He's only got one more playoffs in the junior league and he has to make it count-- or else it's back to the steel mill his father worked at.
They meet, get caught in each other's gravity, and from there a collision is inevitable. They're really, truly happy for a little while-- but then a goon with a grudge throws a wrench into the gears. Can they get their shit together and win the playoffs? We'll see!
