I haven't used you two in a while. But after what happened in the new Beast-Yeast episode...I have a new entry for the Angst War.

The story will be way before the PureLily wedding.

*The scene is set in the Crème Republic, inside the Custard Manor. In one of the rooms, Clotted Cream was sitting right next to a sleeping Wildberry. Clotted Cream is disheveled, looking like he hadn't slept in a long time.*

Clotted Cream:...

Wildberry: ...

Clotted Cream: *gently grabs his hand.* ...

*The bedroom door slowly opens to reveal a concern Light Cream and Elder Custard. They looked at each other before quietly walking in.*

Elder Custard: *gets as close as he can.* Clotted Cream...my son...*gently places his hand on Clotted Cream's shoulder* You need to rest. Wildberry is here and he's getting the best medical care. You don't need to worry about him crumbling.

Clotted Cream: ...

Light Cream: My dear. We know you love him and that you want to be here when he wakes up. But you cannot crumble yourself. You need to take care of yourself and of the children. They'll need you more than ever right now.

Clotted Cream: ...

Elder Custard: Clotted Cream-

Clotted Cream: It's so quiet.

Light Cream and Elder Custard: *eyes widen* !!!

Clotted Cream: Wildberry is quiet but he's never this quiet. *Tears start to form*

Light Cream: *pulls Clotted Cream into a hug* My dear child.

Clotted Cream: He promised to come back to us. He promised that he would be fine. *Tears fall* I...hic...I should have...

Elder Custard: Clotted Cream, you couldn't have known this was going to happen. Wildberry knew the risks of this mission and he was protecting Lady Hollyberry Cookie. While the team got caught in that Beast's trap, he made it out mostly in one piece. He'll be-

Clotted Cream: He wanted to marry me.

Elder Custard and Light Cream: !!!!

Clotted Cream: Two days before he left for Beast-Yeast, he asked me what I thought about being married. He said that he wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. *Tears fall harder* He wanted us to be a family. I...I...*starts wailing*

Please don't come after me WildCream people, it's just a prank, bro-

Let's start with these two families.

Clotted Cream is dating Wildberry, the adopted father of Strawberry, Wild Strawberry, and Strawberry Crepe. (Clotted Cream will be the stepfather to those three soon.) Red Velvet is the partner to Pastry (who will marry soon) and is the adopted father to Capsaicin and Pond Dino while being the jam-related father to Strawberry Cream. Wildberry did try to adopt Strawberry Cream before learning that he was Red Velvet's son. This photo was taken before they agreed for Wildberry to be his Godfather (or the Cookie equivalent of a Godfather.) (Also, this was made way before the release of Strawberry Shortcake Cookie...so imagine they're there, just hiding behind Pastry.)

4/2/24: *Here's the updated picture of the RedPastry household, roommates and children.

Previous statement still stands. Strawberry Shortcake Cookie is here now! And the two (unofficial children) roommates! Brute and Space Doughnut!

Madeleine is the husband to Espresso and the adopted father to Snow Sugar. Snow Sugar is the grandchild of Cotton (and the training ward of Frost Queen).

Yeah...I fell into the hole that Royal Margarine and Pitaya Dragon are together (big thanks to @nightmyst14-blog again) and Snapdragon is their child.

Because I know I didn't made it clear (which I don't blame anyone for. It's a big tree.)

Each panel is the families of Red Velvet, Madeleine, and Clotted Cream.

Madeleine and Espresso adopted Snow Sugar and co-parented with Frost Queen. Red Velvet and Pastry adopted Capsaicin and Pond Dino (pretty sure there will be more). Wildberry adopted Strawberry, Wild Strawberry, and Strawberry Crepe before Clotted Cream and Custard III moved in and became family.

Crunchy Chip: Hey buddy! I brought you a little something for your tour of duty with Red Velvet's cousin. *hands him two sticks* One stick is to make his cousin keep his distance. The other stick is to fight him off or play fetch.

Wildberry: I can't believe I let myself get roped into this.

Red Velvet: *In the other room* Come on Clot! Don't be shy!

Crunchy Chip: I can only imagine what kind of beast is about to walk through that door. Oh! We should take a picture of it and remember how we fought it off! *takes out phone*

*Red Velvet and Clotted Cream walks in*

Clotted Cream: Hello, I'm Clotted Cream Cookie.

*Both Wildberry and Crunchy Chip stare with their jaws agape. Crunchy Chip puts away his phone and excitedly walks up to Clotted Cream, beating Wildberry.*

Crunchy Chip: Hi! I'm Crunchy Chip Cookie! You are handsome!

Wildberry: *pulls Crunchy Chip away* And you are in a relationship! Whereas I, Wildberry Cookie, am as free as air. Speaking of which, do you want to grab some?

Clotted Cream: *smiles* Sure.

Wildberry: *turns to Crunchy Chip* You can just reuse those sticks. *The two walk out*

Red Velvet: *calls out* Have fun! *turns to Crunchy Chip* I think they're gonna have fun. *Crunchy Chip punches him on the arm* Ow! What was that for?!

Crunchy Chip: Having a handsome cousin. *punches him again*

Red Velvet: Ow! What was that for?!

Crunchy Chip: Not telling me about him. *pauses for a second before punching him a third time*

Red Velvet: OW! What was THAT for?!

*The scene is set in the Cookie Kingdom where Stollen and Strawberry Cream are walking down the street. In Strawberry Cream's hand was a piece of paper.*

Stollen: Are you sure he's here? *Strawberry Cream nodded* Okay. Do you know his name?

Strawberry Cream: *pauses then shakes his head.*

Stollen: Do you know what he looks like?

Strawberry Cream: *pause before pointing at his eyes.* I know his eye color and his stare.

Stollen: His eyes? Really? That's the only thing you remember? *turns her back to him* What are you going to do? Stare at every Cookie you pass? That's not gonna- *turns around and Strawberry Cream is gone.* What the?! Oh come on!

*Cut to Strawberry Cream walking around and staring at every Cookie's eyes, causing them to flinch. This goes on until-*

Wildberry: What else do we have left on the list?

Clotted Cream: Just some milk. We should get a- *Strawberry Cream run up to them and stare into his eyes.* Oh! Um...hello there...um...can I help you?

*Strawberry Cream looks into Clotted Cream's eyes for a few seconds before backing up.*

Strawberry Cream: Sorry...It's not you. *Looks at Wildberry* You?

*Wildberry blinked before entering a staring contest with Strawberry Cream. This goes on for a good two minutes before Strawberry Cream pulled back.*

Strawberry Cream: Hmmm. Maybe. Not the right color but the stare is right. Sorry for staring.

*He turned around and was about to walk away when Wildberry grabbed the back of his collar and lifted him up. He then turned his attention to Clotted Cream.*

Wildberry: This is our son now.

Clotted Cream: Wha-!? Wildberry!!

Wildberry: We have room. *starts walking while holding Strawberry Cream like a kitten* Let's go show Red Velvet and Pastry.

Clotted Cream: Wildberry!! *Chases after him*

*Meanwhile, in the RedPastry Household living room, Pastry was knitting a blanket with Pond Dino playing with their toys and some Cake Hounds lying around the room. Suddenly, a knock filled the air. This caused the Cake Hounds to be startled and start to bark before charging at the door.*

Pastry: Oh dear. *stands up, holding the blanket in front of her.* Pond Dino, please stay here. I'll be right back.

Pond Dino: Okay mama!

*Pastry leaves the living room (with the blanket still in her arms) and shoo the Cake Hounds away from the door. She opens it to see Clotted Cream, Wildberry, and a teenager being held like a kitten in Wildberry's hand.*

Clotted Cream: Ah! Pastry! So sorry to disturb you right now. Wildberry wanted to show both you and Red Velvet someone.

Pastry: ...Where did the child come from?

Wildberry: He came up to us, did a staring contest to each of us, then I wanted to take him in. We wanted to show you guys first.

Pastry: What of his parents? Won't they go looking for him?

Wildberry: You're one to talk. Did Pond Dino's parents come looking for them?

Pastry: ...I may be on leave but that doesn't mean I won't crumble you.

Clotted Cream: *stands between the two* Before you go at each other's throats, we have a child whose parents are looking for!

Strawberry Cream: Actually, my father is missing and I'm looking for him. This guy just picked me up and said he was adopting me.

Pastry: Wildberry!

Wildberry: That's how Hollyberry basically adopted me.

Pastry: Do you even know his name? *Wildberry looked at Strawberry Cream before setting him down. Pastry sighed and looked at the young Cookie.* What is your name, young Cookie?

Strawberry Cream: My name is Strawberry Cream, ma'am.

*As soon as he said that, Pastry's face morphed into shock. She looked at Strawberry Cream for a few seconds before walking back into the house. Wildberry, Clotted Cream, and Strawberry Cream carefully walked inside the house, straight to the living room, and waited. Strawberry Cream noticed Pond Dino still playing with their toys. They noticed him staring.*

Pond Dino: Hello! Do you want to play?

Strawberry Cream: Um...I guess? *sits down next to them.* What are you playing?

Pond Dino: Last Cookie Standing. Crunchy or Crispy?

*Before he could answer, quick footsteps filled the air. The Cookkies looked over at the doorframe to see Red Velvet, slightly panting, leaning on the doorframe. His eyes fixed on Strawberry Cream.*

Clotted Cream: Red Velvet, sorry for the unannounced visit. Wildberry wanted to show you the child he wanted to adopt after a staring contest.

Wildberry: This is-

Red Velvet: Strawberry Cream. I know. I gave him that name.

*Strawberry Cream stood up and walked over to Red Velvet. They both looked at each other for a couple seconds before Strawberry Cream ran to Red Velvet and hugged him. Red Velvet hugs him back.*

Clotted Cream: What is-

Pastry: I'll explain later. But good luck getting him to be your son, Wildberry.

Wildberry: I will still try.

*Meanwhile...*

*The scene takes place outside of a familiar restaurant. Wildberry, dressed up, looked at his watch nervously. It was almost time and he didn't see Clotted Cream anywhere.*

Wildberry: (Where is he? Did something happen? Should I have met him at his house? Maybe I should-)

???: Wildberry!

*Wildberry turned around to see Clotted Cream, also dressed up, running straight to him. The consul ran straight into the knight's arms.*

Clotted Cream: I'm so sorry for being late! My family found out about our date and then they decided to get me dressed up.

Wildberry: Madeleine can be a bit...over dramatic with clothing.

Clotted Cream: It wasn't Madeleine or his siblings. I wish it was them.

Wildberry: Hm?

Clotted Cream: My parents found out.

Wildberry: Ah...How was it?

Clotted Cream: Not as bad...but I don't want to talk about it. I just want to focus on our date. *Smiles and pulls Wildberry into the restaurant.* I'm interested in what you have planned for us.

Wildberry: *smiles* Of course.

*As the couple goes inside the restaurant, a bush far behind them rustled. The heads of Madeleine, Clover, Knight, Custard III, Elder Custard, and Light Cream.*

Light Cream: Should we be doing this?

Madeleine: It's fine. We've done this before. We only got caught once.

Custard: And you know how to get in? Without getting spotted?

Clover: Well...We weren't able to get in...And...our parents found us first.

Custard III: We got close to the window!

Custard: Then we won't be able to see everything that happens.

Knight: Well-

White Lily: *appears out of nowhere* No.

*Everyone jumps*

Madeleine: Great Divine Light! Where did you come from?!

White Lily: Doesn't matter. All of you. *points to the opposite direction* March.

Custard: You can't-

White Lily: MARCH!

*Meanwhile, back in the restaurant, Clotted Cream and Wildberry were sitting at a table.*

Clotted Cream: It's very lovely that you were able to get a reservation at the same restaurant.

Wildberry: Well, *grabs Clotted Cream's hand* it's only fitting that we celebrate our one-year anniversary at the place that started it all.

*Clotted Cream blushed a bit before giving a small cheek kiss. As the date kept going, Clotted Cream noticed something was off with Wildberry. He was slightly distracted and he would squeeze his hand a bit hard. Something was off. After dinner, the couple went walking around the kingdom, Clotted Cream's arm hooked around Wildberry's.*

Clotted Cream: Wild...

Wildberry: Yes?

Clotted Cream: Is something bothering you?

Wildberry: What do you mean?

Clotted Cream: You're quieter than usual. Something going on.

*The two stopped walking. Clotted Cream looked up to see Wildberry furrowing his brows. That got Clotted Cream slightly nervous.*

Clotted Cream: I-is everything a-alright?

Wildberry: *notices the stuttering* Yes! Everything is fine. I just had a question for you and I just want to know your answer.

Clotted Cream: O-okay. What is it?

Wildberry: Well...*takes a deep breath* How do you feel about you and Custard Cream living with me and the strawberry kids?

Clotted Cream: W-what?

Wildberry: I noticed that you have been under a lot of stress when you leave the Cookie Kingdom and leave Custard Cream here. I know your extended family helps take care of him but I want to help too. And *kisses Clotted Cream's hand* it would be an honor to see you first thing in the morning whenever we're both here. So what do you say?

*Clotted Cream blushed and started to become a stuttering mess. While this was happening, Wildberry was trying to calm him down. After three minutes of trying to calm down, Clotted Cream took a deep breath.*

Clotted Cream: I would love to. And I would hope the Hollyberrian Prince wouldn't mind helping me and my little brother move in?

Wildberry: *smiles and pulls Clotted Cream close* Of course.

Party time! (Sorry for the long read. I may have overdone it.)

*The scene picks up two days later at the winter party. Everyone there was enjoying the festivities. Madeleine, Espresso, Latte, and Almond were talking about the Parfaedia Institute. The kids were playing close to the windows. The Madeleine sisters, Sablé, and Dark Cacao talked about their favorite sweets. Financier, Pastry, Black Raisin, and Whipped Cream were admiring the lights in the ballroom. Herb, Clover, Knight, Clotted Cream, and Wildberry were watching the Hollyberry family have a contest to see who could balance on the barrel the longest. Pure Vanilla, White Lily, Vanilla Sugar, Custard, and Light Cream were telling Cream Scone all the adventures the families had been through. Dark Choco and Red Velvet stood near the tree, admiring it.*

Dark Choco: I never thought...a tree could be this bright.

Red Velvet: Yeah. Dark mom always had a weird tree for the Winter Solstice. But it always looked like it was about fall apart.

Dark Choco: Yes. But at least she tries. *pauses* How has she been?

Red Velvet: The same. But at least she's not causing chaos. How are things with you and your father?

Dark Choco: It's fine. We've been getting better. There are still a few awkward moments but I know we're both trying. And it's all thanks to you.

Red Velvet: Huh?

Dark Choco: If you didn't go looking for me, I wouldn't have had a chance to be with my family again. Or even be with my friends.

Red Velvet: *smiles* No problem. Speaking of family, is there something going on between Dark Cacao and Sablé?

Dark Choco: Well...let's just say...the Dark Cacao Kingdom might be getting a queen soon.

*Red Velvet smiled and was about to say something when he noticed out of the corner of his eyes. Madeleine and Espresso were walking out to the garden while Wildberry and Clotted Cream walked out to the other room. Dark Choco noticed this too.*

Dark Choco: What's wrong?

Red Velvet: I...*realizes what's going on.* Those two sly bastards. Want to help me embarrass them?

Dark Choco: *narrows his eye* What are you planning?

*Meanwhile, Madeleine and Espresso were walking through the outdoor garden. As they walked, Madeleine pulled Espresso close to keep him warm.*

Madeleine: It's very lovely tonight.

Espresso: Yes. The moon is shining bright now. Moonlight Cookie is doing a wonderful job.

Madeleine: Yes. Very good job. *looks absently at Espresso.*

Espresso: *stops walking* Alright. What's wrong?

Madeleine: *startled* W-What? What are you talking about?

Espresso: You've been acting off for the past few days. You usually talk on and on as well as shower me with more affection than I could handle. So what is going on?

Madeleine: I...um...I...

Espresso: Well?

Madeleine: *takes a deep breath and faces Espresso.* I...You know that I love you, right?

Espresso: Yes.

Madeleine: And these past five years were wonderful. Right?

Espresso: Yes. I know this.

Madeleine: And you've talked about living in the Vanilla Kingdom once you retired-

Espresso: Madeleine. Are you still worried about taking over the Vanilla Kingdom? I told you that I would be by your side when the day comes.

Madeleine: But you didn't tell me what you would be to me.

Espresso: What?

Madeleine: Espresso...I don't think I could find a better Cookie to be by my side, especially these past two years. And I think you should be treated as such. *grabs Espresso's hand and kneels to one knee. Espresso's eyes widen.* I know I'm not a perfect Cookie, but I hope I'm perfect enough for you. So Espresso Cookie of the Créme Republic, *pulls out a small black box and opened it to reveal a golden ring with a black gem. This caused Espresso to cover his mouth.* will you do me the honor and be my husband?

*Espresso stood there, shocked. This caused Madeleine to start freaking out.)

Madeleine: (Did I do this too soon?! Maybe I shouldn't have done this during the winter. Maybe this wasn't romantic enough. Should I have done this at the diner?! Maybe-)

*Espresso hugged Madeleine, causing both of them to fall back. Madeleine wasn't sure what was going on. It wasn't until he felt Espresso quivering.*

Madeleine: Ah! Espresso! Are you-!

Espresso: Yes.

Madeleine: Huh?

Espresso: *lifts himself enough for Madeleine to see tears threaten to fall* I said yes, you fool. I'll marry you. I'll be by your side until the end.

*Madeleine smiled and pulled Espresso into a kiss.*

*Meanwhile, standing at the balcony that faces the garden. The Pure Lily family, the Madeleine sisters, Herb, the Hollyberry family, Pastry, Latte, and Vanilla Sugar. It wasn't long until the Madeleine sisters started cheering. This startled Madeleine and Espresso, causing them to look up at the balcony.*

Lemon Madeleine: Oh my Divine Light!!

Lime Madeleine: Such a beautiful moment!

Orange Madeleine: We must celebrate!

Latte: I agree! And we can plan the wedding too! I know the perfect place!

Red Velvet: That would be a great idea! And we do have a Cookie here *gestures at Pure Vanilla* who can do weddings!

*Madeleine and Espresso blushed like crazy. Madeleine nervously smiled before pulling Espresso into a hug.*

*Meanwhile, in the other room, Wildberry and Clotted Cream were standing there. Behind his back and in his hands was the small gray box.*

Wildberry: Was there something wrong?

Clotted Cream: No, nothing is wrong. I just...*blushes* wanted to give your gift a bit early.

Wildberry: *smiles* I see. Then I should get my gift for you too. *about to leave*

Clotted Cream: *stops him* Wait...I can wait for that gift. But I can't wait for this gift. *brings out the small box while blushing* Here.

*Wildberry took the box and opened it. He was shocked by what he saw. Inside was two silver rings with pearls engraved in them. He looks at Clotted Cream.*

Wildberry: Clotted Cream...

Clotted Cream: I know jewelry isn't something you would wear, especially rings. And I have had this since Aunt Oyster and Uncle Caviar's wedding which was at our four-month mark. But I wasn't sure if that was a good idea to give it to you then since it's not a proposal ring. And if you don't like it, I can get you something else. A-and I can return this back to-

*Wildberry pulls Clotted Cream close and kissed him. Clotted Cream froze but quickly melt into the kiss. It only lasted a couple seconds before Wildberry pulled away.*

Wildberry: Don't. I will wear this. I just...*look around until he spots a string on a table. He picks it up and took one of the rings. The string slips through the ring and Wildberry tied the string around his neck.* Here we go.

Clotted Cream: *smiles* It looks great on you.

*Wildberry smiles and took the other ring out of the box. Then he grabbed Clotted Cream's hand and put it on.*

Wildberry: This will have to do for now.

Clotted Cream: *blushes* F-for now?

*Wildberry smiles before kissing Clotted Cream's head and pulling him into a hug. While all this was happening, on the other side of the door was Dark Choco, the Custard family, Cream Scone, the Berry family, and Sablé. Most were trying to keep quiet.*
