So I was leaving the grocery store, grinding that pokestop as usual, when suddenly a Mareep appeared!

Fishing Game? Nah, it will be some kind of mini game in some kind of RPG or Adventure Game. That’s what I expected and I thought about Fishing Game when looking or hearing it somewhere. My friends play RPG, Tower Defense, Adventures, Actions, Puzzles, and all other popular genres and games, and no one play this kind of genre. Yet, when I tried to play it, it’s surprisingly good!

So, in Ace Fishing, what you can do is not just fishing, but also upgrading your tools, and it’s a BUNCH of tools. It’s not just a fishing pole, but you can also change the string, or your bait. And not just stop at there, you can also equip a PEARL on your fishing pole for skills. Now, can you see the big picture already? Yep, it’s not just a mini-game. It’s an RPG about fishing, and you will have fish BOSS at every level. Seem awesome, right?

So, here is my review for the overall game. Note that I’m still at the beginning, so it will be my first impression rather than a full review of the game.

Gameplay : 5/5. Relaxing and exciting at the same time, especially when you fight the Boss. Upgrading system, viewing your Fish Tank, Quest and Leveling up. I think it’s a complete package.

Story : 2/5. Not much story I can see. Definitely not a story-based game. However, reading the tutorial and Quest is not as boring as I thought, so I can give it 2 rather than 0.

Graphic : 5/5. The 3D is smooth, and the realism style is suited to the game perfectly.

Sound : 5/5. It really helps you when you want to get the fish.

Want to replay or not : 3/5. I don’t think 1 level is boring. It’s quite fun, but it’s longer than I thought.

Continuity : 5/5. For the time being, this is the game for me I want to enjoy for quite some time. Really didn’t think it will come from a Fishing Game.

Overall rating : 4/5

So, if you have the same or similar mindset about Fishing Game in your mind, try this out and you’ll see a different picture. I might try the other Fishing Games as well, and see if this is really the best I can find out. Don’t take it wrong way. I have played a Fishing Game before, and it’s not as fun as I wanted, so I really didn’t know that it could be this fun. Hah hah! Good job, Com2Us!
