Not really one for battles, Pokemon evolved through various means, usually candy (and the odd stone of necessity), rarely if ever battles.

Will Wikstrom's will or Will's wisdom be the one to win the match?
Well, let's get started with Wikstrom! A knight of Kalos (or descended from one at least) he wields the Steel type, the sword and shield of Aegislash always by his side. A chivalrous man, he always aims for a fair fight as he battles in a full set of armour. This armour is said to have been passed down by his ancestors, and also has a resemblance to the one worn long ago by Kamado of the Galaxy Team. Kamado's armour apparently comes from Galar, Wikstrom himself suggests that it was his ancestors who gifted the armour to the Galarians in the first place! No matter the journey it really took, the suit that Wikstrom actually wears clearly shows off his sturdy and well polished nature! Can the armour protect him from his opponent?
And that's Will! The man in the mysterious mask uses the Psychic type, his signature Pokémon Xatu always by his side. He took the spot in the Indigo League formerly held by Lorelei, and interestingly they both use a Slowbro and a Jynx on their teams. Not much is known about Will, having joined the league recently after training across the world, but he's definitely earned his spot! Adding to his mystery, despite being referred to as male in every other place, the internal code of Pokémon Crystal classifies him as female- a trait that he shares only with Bugsy. Will also has a team of all female Pokémon in Heart Gold and Soul Silver too, something that was changed from the original games. With a lot of intrigue surrounding him, can Will's mystique win him the match?

Loving the Grimsley and Corbeau hcs, I think regardless of how one hcs their connection, whether if they're in a ship or related, Grimsley should always be in massive quantities of debt to the literal loan shark imo HAHA
I can't adopt the hc that they're related though because Wikstrom is Right There.
Alolan Grimsley has a connection to the Skarmory in the area when you meet him too so that's another point for Wikstrom being related to him in my hcs.
