Morning. (I know because I’m not awake for about 3/4 of the days of my life because I didn’t sleep on time.)

Favorite pizza topping?


So it used to be cheese and pepperoni but one day I realized I like roasted vegetables. (Probably because if you have pizza for lunch everyday at some point you feel like you need vegetables to like avoid scurvy)

So now I like allll the toppings :D :D and yess pineapple is especially good...

Your zodiac sign?

Scorpio with Taurus moon sign but I don’t know what ascending because I still need to ask my mom the time of my birth (…yes as you can see I’m totally like a Scorpio..)

Your Hogwarts house?

Slytherin, possibly only because of the aesthetics… Because who wouldn’t pick the weird black-coloured drink that gives you visions etc??

A lot of ice in water, a little in juice!

Too hot or too cold? It used to be too hot, but now I prefer it too cold. (I hope it’s a sign I’m getting healthier but it’s probably not…)

If you had to pick a fictional universe to live in, other than Harry Potter, what would you pick? Other than Harry Potter???

Ooh ok, Doctor Who is a pretty good one, if I get to be a time-travelling companion. Nothing beats all of time and space. Only downside is no magic, boo…

Coffee or Tea? Neither, caffeine makes me weird(er).

Cold Pizza for Breakfast or Breakfast for Dinner? I’ve had both. Honestly anything edible is good. Sometimes I wish I could photosynthesis like a plant.

Aesthetics-wise it’d be a pile of mismatched blankets on the floor that I just lie on all day… and maybe a view of a big city on a rainy day… (so basically like, a hobo)

If you encountered a boggart what form would it take? Heights, family members dying, decay because like time passed and I didn’t notice?? driving on a never-ending road, and tbh failing class is possibly still my boggart x’’D

What Hogwarts subject do you think you’d excel at? Transfiguration and Arithmancy to an extent, Astronomy and probably Charms. I’d be bad with the hands-on stuff, Potions, Magical Creatures, Quidditch, DADA… And I’d like History, but I’m so bad at essays…

Butterbeer or Firewhiskey?

Probably Butterbeer, I haven’t learnt to appreciate alcohol - yet...

With which fictional character do you feel you most identify?


Gollum. Ok no maybe Luna Lovegood x’’D. Or the book version of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline. Or his Bod from the Graveyard Book… Fictional characters I like and remember are generally too cool for me x’’D

With which character from War is Kind do you feel most identify

Out of everyone I think Tristan Jugson x’’D… Between Rita and Lucius I’m more like Rita but yeah, I usually give them either my traits or the polar opposite of my traits so it’s easy to keep track x’’D, so they turn out pretty different from me…

(Also just wanted to say, it’s so cool to read about you guys, I’m laughing so much at my screen x’’’D)

Morning or night person? Morning. I’m up at 6:30 to 7 AM whether I’d like to be or not, though I used to be a super late night person and sometimes still can be. I don’t need a whole lot of sleep. But we got old one day awhile back and late nights started to feel lonely, and then I got a job that wasn’t freelance and then my girls started school and then I started falling asleep through films and books like a Frank Longbottom and couldn’t even handle staying up to whine about my nights being lonely. Favorite pizza topping?

Kidding. All pizza, all beef, all pepperoni, all red onion. 

Your zodiac sign? Sagittarius. It’s suited me well.

Your Hogwarts house? Once upon a time, I was (without any doubt) a Ravenclaw. Every single Pottermore quiz I’ve ever taken put me there, every piece of merchandise I’ve ever bought myself is Ravenclaw. But these days, after years and years and a million changes, I don’t feel like I particularly fit anywhere at Hogwarts. Maybe I fit everywhere. Haven’t figured it out yet. No idea. I can tell you though that I’m a Thunderbird, up and down and backward and forward and sideways and drunk. 

Do you like a lot of ice in your drinks or a little? Enough to cool it off, a lot if it’s the soft pebble ice.

What song is the one song you know every word to without thinking about it? Television - Jack’s Mannequin. First song that popped into my head.  Too hot or too cold? Too cold. I live in a place where it’s in the 110′s in the summer and being this much closer to the sun at elevation, it’s ridiculous. It’s several -10′s in the winter. I’ll take 70 and deal with anything below. You can always put more clothes on, but you can’t always take more off. 

If you had to pick a fictional universe to live in, other than Harry Potter, what would you pick? I WANNA BE A POWER RANGER TOO

Coffee or Tea? Coffee. Jamaican, sweet italian creme, no sugar. Red fruity teas. How about an Ocean Water?

With which character from War is Kind do you feel most identify? Out of my characters I’d say that out of all of them in WIK I’m most like Bertie, but there’s a little bit of me in every character I play. I’m also a lot like Gawain. Like, a lot like Gawain. I’ve got a lot of Travers in me, too. Fuck.

Night. If you’ve ever been keeping track of what hours I’m on here compared to my time zone, you’ve probably already noticed this.

Oooooh, I like mine with extra cheese and bell peppers.

Taurus. I’ll be honest and tell you that I know very little about astrology, but from what I understand, stubbornness is a quality associated with being a Taurus. And I think that fits me pretty damn well.

Your Hogwarts house?

Hufflepuff! Although as I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed some Gryffindor tendencies in me, as well. My Ilvermorny House is Pukwudgie.

Do you like a lot of ice in your drinks or a little?

It depends on the drink.

What song is the one song you know every word to without thinking about it?

Oh my gosh, so many. In my younger years I sang professionally (Fun fact: My father is a classically trained opera singer and stage actor, so that’s what I grew up doing, as well), and there’s a lot of songs that are permanently burned into my brain from voice training. The first thing that comes to mind right now is Forget About the Boy from Thoroughly Modern Millie. I’ve been using it as an audition song since I was eleven.

Too hot or too cold?

I’m a little confused by this question. Is it asking me if I prefer to be hot or cold, or if I’m usually hotter or cooler? Either way, I’m usually cold, so I guess I’d prefer to just stay cold, since I’m used to it. I live in Florida, which is very hot and humid, and I literally have to bring a sweater or jacket everywhere in case I start to freeze. Everyone looks at me funny.

If you had to pick a fictional universe to live in, other than Harry Potter, what would you pick?

Oh, this is tricky. There are so many amazing fictional worlds out there. If I had to narrow it down, I’d say it’s a tie between Middle Earth (The Hobbit/LOTR universe) and the Star Trek universe.

Coffee or Tea?

It depends on my mood. I like both. Coffee is for early mornings and hangovers. Tea is for curling up on the couch with a good book.

If you encountered a boggart what form would it take?

Gosh. I have a lot of pent up anxieties but what’s coming to mind right now is my best friend or mother lying on the ground murdered, and now I’m sad thinking about that, THANKS SURVEY

What Hogwarts subject do you think you’d excel at?

This all depends on how good I would be at magic itself. I can’t properly answer this without knowing how much skill I’d have with a wand. Without that knowledge, I’d probably say I’d be best at History of Magic, since History was my best class in normal school.

Butterbeer or Firewhiskey?

It depends on how it’s served. At the Wizarding World of Harry Potter they serve Butterbeer three ways (frozen, room temperature, and hot). If I have the option of hot Butterbeer, then HOT BUTTERBEER A THOUSAND TIMES OVER. But if it’s just room temp then I’d rather have Firewhiskey.

With which fictional character do you feel you most identify?

This could be a long list but I’m going to narrow it down to one of the classics: Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing. I like to talk and debate, I’m a bit stubborn when I want to be, and I enjoy a good party with the company of others while still appreciating solitude. Also I will defend my fellow ladies from slut shaming until the end of time. “No, sure, my lord, my mother cried, but then there was a star danced and under that was I born.”

Morning or night person?

Night person. Which makes the fact that I have to be at work at 7 am the worst thing in the world and means I don't get enough sleep ever.

Favorite pizza topping?

Cheese. Literally any and all kinds of cheese. In undergrad, we went to this pizza place all the time that had ricotta, and it was always a magical experience.

Aries. Sometimes I will pretend I'm not a very good Aries. Don’t believe me if I try to tell you this because I’m lying.

Ravenclaw. Which you will be able to pick up after talking to me for five minutes, I’m pretty sure. 

Do you like a lot of ice in your drinks or a little?

Aaaaall the ice. I can't stand lukewarm drinks.

I'm not much of a music person tbh. I mostly listen to podcasts. Lots and lots of podcasts. If you need some good good recs, I got them.

Too cold. I sleep with a fan on no matter the temperature outside.

If you had to pick a fictional universe to live in, other than Harry Potter, what would you pick?

My first thought was Narnia? But not like White Queen era, but like The Horse and His Boy era. I think that’d be fun, even if you did have to deal with god lion every so often. Nothing else good is coming to mind. I’ve been reading a lot of historical fiction lately, which is exactly a fictional universe, so nothing else is coming to mind.

Breakfast for dinner. Eggs are one of like five things I can successfully cook, so if that counts, I eat breakfast for dinner pretty regularly.

If you encountered a boggart what form would it take?

Something where I couldn't take care of myself. I don't know how a boggart communicates the fear of losing independence but that's what it would be. 

What Hogwarts subject do you think you’d excel at?

I'm feeling Transfiguration? I think McGonagall hits the sweet spot of motivating but not babying, which I kind of need to put more than basic effort into a class. But also I'm old and done with school, who knows what it would've been at 11.

With which fictional character do you feel you most identify?

I feel like I've been struggling with this question for months but the last time I crowd sourced it, the answer was Miranda from Sex in the City and Laurel from How to Get Away With Murder. But I also feel like if you smooshed together Ben Wyatt and Ronan Lynch. So I don't know is the answer, I fail at this question.

With which character from War is Kind do you feel most identify?

Morning or night person? Fun fact: I once I did a test designed to determinate if a person is a “morning”, “afternoon” or “night” person to determine this, fully expecting “night person” as an answer. (I mean.. I put my ideal job to go from 9pm to 5am.) It turned out I broke the test---apparently my answers did not match any of their results. But I function mostly from late afternoon to early morning, not the other way around. So, I’d say night person.

Favorite pizza topping? I live in pizzaland, how can I choose? Lately I’m all for salami and cayenne pepper, but sausage and broccoli rabe is a must too. Or endive---like pizza with endive is a cultural thing here. Oh, once I had mozzarella, pumpkin sauce and bacon pizza and was it gooood. Oh! Onions! Gosh, onions on pizza too.

Your Hogwarts house? Slytherin, according to the quiz I did awhile back. I’m okay with it, but honestly I would cheat and try to get into Hufflepuff because it’s closer to the kitchen and thus the food.  

Do you like a lot of ice in your drinks or a little? If my drink needs ice then better be a lot. Otherwise no ice.

What song is the one song you know every word to without thinking about it? I love music but I’m terrible at remembering lyrics, so honestly the only song of which I know every word without thinking about is “Around the World” by Daft Punk.

If you had to pick a fictional universe to live in, other than Harry Potter, what would you pick? You know, they kinda all sucks one way or another. And then I remembered Star Trek. I would definitely go into the Star Trek universe because even at its worst, there is still things like the replimat and the transponder and money doesn’t exist on Earth anymore. So, yeah, definitely Star Trek!

Coffee or Tea? I likee both, but I’m not a functioning being until my second coffee of the day. On a side note, three of my teas have HP nicknames: vanilla flavoured green tea is Voldemort; ginger flavoured green tea is Arthur Weasley and fruit infusion is Alastor Moody. (I could elaborate on why, but I feel this is already too weird.)

What’s your aesthetic? (have fun with this, be it just answering a picspam, a pintrest board go nuts) I actually have pinterest board but there isn’t anything aesthetic-y. Hmm, so... dice sets, books, reading, laptop, coffee, coffee, more coffee, lots of food, messy room, messy bed, converse shoes... 

If you encountered a boggart what form would it take? Ehhh... probably my mom??!? Though, at least, she does have a job. So, like, a jobless version of my mother? Gosh, this question is so deep.

What Hogwarts subject do you think you’d excel at? Like.. none of them? I think I’d be a terrible student, rarely showing up to class, but somehow manage to get a passing grade to the annoyance of my fellow students.

With which fictional character do you feel you most identify? Oh, man... I don’t know.. Probably a bit Quentin Coldwater from The Magicians books, because he’s always there waiting for the next big thing to happen in his life. I fucking hated Quentin, and part of that is because I saw a little bit of myself, probably? (Gosh, this question is deep too.)

I’m not too similar to my own, but after some thinking and digging... I’m gonna say I’m most like Edgar Bones. Which someone should definitely apply for and be my other half. :) :) :)

Morning or night person? Night person. Although not so much by choice anymore? Like don’t get me wrong, I’m not a morning person by any standards and I think it’s criminal to be awake before 9 a.m. – but most of my being a night person comes from the fact that I close at work like 90% of the time. So, like while I’m not a morning person, it’d be super cool to interact with people before it’s super late. I guess I’m an afternoon person.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Favorite pizza topping? P I N E A P P L E. Yes, it does belong on pizza. Yes, I will argue with you about it until the day I die. But to quote Dream Daddy, where it was put best, “I respect your opinion, and I will fight with my life for your right to say it. But where’s your sense of adventure? Where’s your sense of taste? Why won’t you love yourself?”

Your zodiac sign? Aries. Though I am a cusp sign so like, Aries/Taurus. But like when it comes down to it, Aries, 110%. And I’m sorry about that. (Like not really sorry, but you get me)

Your Hogwarts house? Ravenclaw. Though the last time I took the pottermore quiz it got to the end and was like ‘okay but do you think you are more Ravenclaw or Slytherin?’ So I guess I walk a fine line between them. 

Do you like a lot of ice in your drinks or a little? As little as possible, to none. I hate watered down drinks. Plus the more ice you have the less room you have for like actual drink so no thanks.

What song is the one song you know every word to without thinking about it? Like 80% of the Hamilton soundtrack. But also 100% Wannabe by Spice Girls. I went bowling with my friends recently, and Wannabe came on...it was almost embarrassing how quickly I started dancing and I sung the entire song without missing a beat. 

Too hot or too cold? Too cold. I can always find more blankets, and sweaters, and heaters. I can not walk around naked in public or peel off my skin if it’s too hot, so hard pass. Plus who likes to sweat? No one.

If you had to pick a fictional universe to live in, other than Harry Potter, what would you pick? Star Trek. While Dragon Age would be a close second, gotta be Star Trek. I would sign up for Starfleet tomorrow if they’d let me. 

Coffee or Tea? Both. Hot tea with honey, Sweet Tea – Southern sweet tea, Iced Coffee, PSLs, Hot Coffee. Like I’ll take it all please and thank you.

Cold Pizza for Breakfast or Breakfast for Dinner? Breakfast for dinner. I will always eat pancakes. Always. Or biscuits and gravy. Or an amazing steak and egg breakfast. Listen, I work at Cracker Barrel okay I’m always surrounded by amazing breakfast food and I love it all. And while it’s good in the morning, there’s something much more satisfying about having it after noon.

What’s your aesthetic? (have fun with this, be it just answering a picspam, a pintrest board go nuts) I have a pinterest board for that... but see also: Stacks of video games, concert ticket stubs, band t-shirts, mismatched socks, forgotten mugs of hot tea, & brightly colored vans.

If you encountered a boggart what form would it take? Darkness. Commitment. GETTING MARRIED IN A COMPLETELY BLACKED OUT ROOM WITHOUT EVER HAVING PAID OUT MY STUDENT LOANS THUS DYING IN DEBT. Listen I know that’s extra and probably too deep and idk how a boggart would pull it off but like that’s what it’d be. See also: Spiders. 

What Hogwarts subject do you think you’d excel at? Arithmancy. I like numbers. I wish I was cooler, but I’m not. 

Butterbeer or Firewhiskey? Firewhiskey probably. Though having had butterbeer at WWoHP, that stuff is amazing and I’m kinda glad they don’t sell it by the bottle because I would be diabetic in a month.

With which fictional character do you feel you most identify? Chandler Bing probably. As I too am uncomfortable with emotions, and make jokes and sarcastic comments to cope, and am no good with giving advice. However, most recently, Finn Wolfhard’s portrayal of Richie Tozier in IT. I’ve seen the movie twice now, and the entire time I was like #relatable and my friend I went with was like ‘hey, you’re that kid and I’m the kid with the fanny pack’.
