Its been a month or so in coming, but Wicked Loot has a big old fancy Alpha for some of its backers to review and provide feedback.
Retro Rising Rampage - What is It?
The Folks over at Wicked Loot decided to test out different sets of game mechanics by releasing a serious of themed parody mini-games.
This allows a couple of things. First you clearly get to try out and test new mechanics and engine changes as you go. So that you have a well polished game at the end of the day. But you also get to test everything without releasing and potentially spoiling the story for everyone.
I just found Spark Rising - What is it?
Spark Rising is a game that weds concepts of Voxel (block) style graphics from games like minecraft and cubeworld with gaming mechanics like Battlefront 2. Its got some FPS, a little Tower Defense, and a touch of free building and sharing like minecraft.
