what would your take on tsitp be if it had ‘tudors’ characters? anne as belly, etc.
well… funnily enough it’d be more coa , if we were taking it more fanfictive-equivalent literally (love triangle btwn two brothers? the tsp aging up of it all…)
but yeah character-wise not plotwise belly reminds me a lot of anne. and omg, lula tung is amazing… i would love her to play anne (in like a whu adaptation… who said THAT) passionate, headstrong, sensitive, image/self-conscious, ‘blooming’ changing how she’s treated and making her see men differently, stubborn…
and jer feels like a prototypical henry percy. boring and selfish and she’d wither on his vine etc
any headcanons for what h7 & eoy would think about anne boleyn? (modern au, preferably. tho for histfic i think it's only applicable for eoy and anne)
interesting for both...i think anne would be very sensitive re: sensing any disapproval and wanting to gain their approval. i give good parent is the impression she gave as she tried to ally herself with all of henry's mentors, historically.
i think re: h7 a little chilly. but mainly bcus she only has henry's perspective on his father, and not any others. she's not unbiased. h7 would be either impressed or wary of how driven she was (depending on if she was 'driven' re: towards something he believed would be compatible to his son's interests...say henry wants to run for political office, and anne is a journalist. are those two things compatible? well...from an 'old money' perspective, no, not really...etc, etc)
eoy,,,lol, i remember this:
in histfic she can't meet them but it's the same thing re: impressions. to over-generalize, her paternal family is 'lancastrian' and her maternal 'yorkist' (even, for a time, ricardian) sooo her perspective of them will be necessarily shaped by that. when she agrees to become henry's wife he probably shares more and more intimate things with her about his past, and then her impressions of them are going to be shaped by his perceptions again so, probably more favorable towards eoy.
