ahhh thank you!! it was definitely a lover letter to how messy people are, even when we love them (and obviously when we don't). there's a great art piece that i love that i think about a lot by anna may henry that i feel like really gets right to it:

As y'all might know i recently rewatched 13 sins because i felt nostalgic and i remembered it was a good movie, and what would you know, it was. But last night i was being insane as usual and i got upset because how this movie is considered bad by some for some reason. Like, the acting was good, the characters were likeable, the relationships were meaningful, the twists had be like NOOO, and even the attempt at bigger depth was good!!

And that's when i remembered another movie which had all these things but unlike most i disliked: What happened to Monday. That movie was 30 min longer than 13 sins yet the story was shit, the characters weren't as likeable and the relationships weren't even at the same level of depth as the other. Now it did have Willem being a cutie which is a big bonus but-

What I'm trying to say is that it upsets me so much the way things were. Because 13 sins could have been an ass kicking movie even a famous one if it had been longer, since bc how short it is a lot feels too compact and scenes just don't happen (like the ostrich challenge), plus the deeper plot could have been developed. And WHTM could have been an amaizing 1:30 or 1:40 if you wish movie, focusing less on the stupidly underdeveloped world and more on the sisters and their relationship.
