HINATA SHOYO has never been interested in fashion. not his own, not anybody else's. all throughout his school years he just threw on the uniform and maybe brushed his unruly hair if he felt like it — and then when he hit adulthood he was almost always either in baggy sweats or jorts and a random tee. and a majority of the time he was coming to or from practice, the team shirt hanging off his broad shoulders.
and then he got married to you. chill beach proposal and a navy suit on the day of. he didn't mind when you wanted to style him for date night, but he himself just never cared about appearances, often showing up to press conferences in hoodies and dreams.
at least not until your daughter was born. jokes had been going around the family gatherings that you'd become a personal stylist for the baby girl, but somehow your clueless husband stole that role off of you.
it started with the simple things. he studied intensely how to put up the little hair she had into a ponytail or helping her put her teeny little shoes on when you were running upstairs last minute to grab something, his nimble fingers working the buttons on her cardigan. then, when you were away or catching up on sleep, he would entertain your little one by playing dress up or taking her to the park (of course getting her dressed in only the best). and anytime you three were out together, he somehow managed to convince you to buy five more pieces of clothing, hair clips or shoes.
shoyo has never been particularly interested in fashion, but he’d always give you a fond memory anytime he dressed your baby daughter up. and don’t even get him started on the massive sunhats he’d throw on her anytime you three were on vacation.
authors note: i’ll try to post writings a little on here but it won’t be as much as before 🧡 all shares and supports appreciated ofc!!
