So Jughead paused with a hand on his locker door, the thin metal square was halfway open. One could barely see inside his locker of books (both class required and his own collection), of forgotten notes on pages ripped out of notebooks and candy wrappers. Jughead didn’t keep much in here. Riverdale High wasn’t his go-to for storing actual items with actual memories. Although that old copy of The Great Gatsby wasn’t terrible.

It was the end of the day and Jughead had returned to his locker to rid his bag of what he wanted to leave behind when that voice, familiar and sweet and friendly rang out around him.
