And yes she knew them both and they knew her...just not each other...yet. Granted knowing had given benefits but at the same time made it 10x more frustrating watching them go in circles. 

Either way, something was up due to their lack of fluidity and synchronization in the past few fights and patrols. The usual banter and understanding of a plan without even a single word was completely void, almost barren.

Determined to get to the bottom of it, she planned to ask both sides before formulating a plan to fix this incredible mess of a situation.

Tears threatened to spill from her eyes, but Althea only nodded in response and left his room. However, she only turned the corner down the hallway, before she finally started to cry. It hurt her to tell that lie. She truly loved him. If only he understood that she was doing it for his own good.

"Don't feel bad. You did great," a stormtrooper said, walking up to her. "Isn't this what you wanted? A life for a life?"

Althea nodded.

"Then come on. It's time to go," he said, shoving her along to a ship that would take her away.

'Goodbye, Kylo,' she thought to herself. 'I love you.'

It was Drake's head was going through every possible argument or reason to not go see Perona, but all of it was just wasn't getting through to him. He couldn't explain it. He understood how much of a bad idea this was, but after all this time he hadn't been able to get her out of his head. With the way they left things, he just needed closure at the very least.

He stood in front of the massive doors to her castle for at least 5 minutes before finally knocking. He was as tense as a sailing knot. Finally, the door opened.

His mind went blank. He had prepared a dozen or so possible plans for what to say or do when he saw her, and even more reactions depending on what she did. But all of that just left his brain like dust in the wind. He was just so stunned to see her again. The woman he loved.

"...Hey Per-Ack!" Drake's attempt to break the silence after a solid minute or so was met with a sudden tackle to the ground by the ghost princess. She was punching his chest. Repeatedly. Screaming something too, but he couldn't make it out. His brain was just a deep fog. Finally, he managed to cut through her anger like a lighthouse beacon in a raging storm as he reached a hand out to gently caress her cheek.

Blood poured from from his wounds. The Hatake was bleeding profusely. His vision was blurry but he recognized his attacker. He just hadn’t expected he’d be taken down like this. Was this really where it ended? Kakashi wouldn’t complain. He was a Trash ninja and deserved this. At least he would see Rin, Minato, Obito and even Kushina again. Maybe his parents too. So many people that he’d let down, so many that left him behind because Hatake Kakashi wasn’t good enough.
