I will never get tired of you, even if your soul might grow weary.I will not give up on you, even if you already did on me. I will carry you as a pendant belonging to a necklace, worn round my neck.

There it is, sitting almost perfectly before the bones of a beating drum, where it is closest to a depth only you can touch.

I've been branded by you as an enigma.  And I hold on to the comfort of this sliver of thought: "Isn't what's mysterious a thing of beauty?". To know what is not known. To study the curious and to find adventure in figuring out a labyrinth.

I am deeply sorry for being a difficult project to decipher. I do not intend for you to suffer. I have this certainty that you and I etched in time to cross paths. But I'd love the idea of you holding my hand instead, together walking along a single path until we lived off everything that life has to offer. I'd love it to become more than just an idea. The manifestation itself.

Although it might take my whole life to absolve myself of my inadequacies. I hope you'll find resolution in being the only person to hold fragments of my being, and to do as you please with the pieces . If that is enough.

So please stay by my side. That is all I need.
