Steve wasn’t exactly surprised that it had happened, especially since he’d told him that it was okay, but he’d expected Dustin to be a little older when he took him up on the ‘designated driver’ offer.

“Get in, dipshit,” he said as he pulled up to the curb, “then tell me why the hell I’m picking up a couple of wasted freshmen from the fuckin’ arcade.”

“Hey, I’m not wasted-” Dustin protested, pointing a finger at Steve as he loaded an uncharacteristically quiet Max and Lucas into the back seat. “I’m high.”

“Oh my god, fine, you’re not drunk, but seriously, what the hell, kid?” Steve asked as Dustin tried, unsuccessfully, to duck the vigorous noogie aimed at his head, batting away the older boy’s hands.

“Well, Max found her brother’s stash, and we thought it’d be cool to play the games while we were, y’know-” he mimed a blunt between his fingers- “but, uh, Max and Lucas seemed pretty out of it so I thought, y’know.”

“I’d say you had the right idea,” Steve sighed as he pulled away from the curb, carefully not paying attention to the young teens curled up together in his rearview mirror, “only I’m guessing that this was your idea in the first place, so you’re not winning any ‘good idea’ awards tonight.”

I wash my hair every other day so probably 3–4? although sometimes if I feel gross I’ll take a quick body shower, so it... depends?

$6 and zero cents

I’m NOT SURE! I have many actors that I like, but I don’t have one who stands above the rest, ready to lay claim to this most exclusive of titles, so it’s hard to pick The Favorite 

46. whats your go to hair style?

when I do style my hair (and I definitely don’t always. there’s a lot of “let it air dry and then just brush it”), I like to make the top part go swoosh and go up and then to the side

52. what is your dream car? 

I’M QUEER AND CAN’T DRIVE! well. I mean technically, legally, I can drive. but I have not driven a car since 2015, so effectively, I can’t drive. 

my dream car is a rapid, efficient, and reliable public transportation system 

61. have you ever peed in the woods? 

no specific occasions come to mind, but I’m positive I must have at some point in my life. just like, statistically? 

I mean, I know my mom has peed in the woods like... so many times. so many times. the other moms at girl scout camp were shocked and appalled. I have had to keep lookout so often. 

76. what color looks best on you? 

I’ve honestly never thought about it? but when I was a small child, I excitedly ran over to a purple women’s business suit (oh the 90s) and held it up in front of me so I could pretend I was wearing it and one of my parents was like “that’s a good color for you” and I was like PURPLE IS MY FAVORITE COLOR NOW and purple’s still my favorite color so? that is my amusing anecdote to make up for the fact that I don’t have a more legitimate answer

I don’t know any of my neighbors, but I generally don’t hear any of my neighbors, which is the best thing you can ask of neighbors in an apartment

I’M SORRY TO BRING IT BACK!! though I’m also pretty positive you were the one who told me of its existence in the first place, so it seems fair :p 

SOME THINGS CANNOT BE FORGOTTEN, NO MATTER HOW HARD WE TRY. it’s horrible because I remembered the fic’s existence and it’s been my barometer for “everything exists on the internet,” but I had forgotten the specifics and details of it, and then I saw “dobby stretches, sir” and I was like “oh god. oh god it’s coming back to me. oh gOD WHY”

right like?? admittedly I haven’t finished his whole arc so my opinions with a grain of salt
