So lately I’ve learned that there is another ML original character that shares the miraculous hero name White-Tail. I have been in contact with the creator of this OC and we have both decided that my OC Eva Protz/White-tail as well as her OC Destiny Cropper/White-tail are about to have a very confusing (and funny) meeting.
Quick sketch of White-tail stargazing because I’m anxious as hell and drawing helps me calm down (ignore the hands). Better lighting to come.
2013: The hunter who shot this deer didn’t notice that the extra bulk on the antlers was a bunch of rope and thought he’d gotten an absolute monster of a buck before he recovered the body (though if you ask me, the antlers under the ropes are nothing to sneeze at).

Spider bites and necrotic ulcers
White-tail spiders are very unlikely to cause necrotic ulcers. In a study of 130 CONFIRMED white-tail bites, NONE resulted in necrotic ulcers or confirmed infections and in investigations of necrotic ulcers assumed to be the result of white-tail bites, all were found to have other causes. If you SEE a spider bite you, catch it for positive identification by an expert. DO NOT assume a white-tail bit you if you develop a necrotic ulcer because that can lead to misdiagnosis, and incorrect treatment, or even no treatment where there could be easy treatment.
You can choose to ignore white-tails, treat them with respect, or relocate them, but don't kill them out of fear. They are unlikely to bite you, and even if they do, it won't be much more than a mosquito bite type of reaction, if that.

After feeding these precious goat nuggets today, I was able to find and follow a large white tail's tracks through a wind-sheltered field. Following along, almost exactly in the tracks was a large coyote's prints. Clever thing knew not to leave a second set of prints.
