Hisui is the second heir to the Carina house, the ruling house of Morfis.

At the age of 17, she was enrolled in the Garreg Mach Monastery Officers Academy by her father, who hoped to source a husband of nobility for his youngest child in order that political relations between Morfis and Fódlan. Although Hisui is not keen on fighting or matters of a combative nature, she for once welcomes her father’s schemes for power as it allows her to be free of life under his watch.

Though she possesses no crest, she does bear one of the many magical powers endemic to Morfis, which her father hopes will appeal to the nobility of Fódlan who put great stock in similar magical powers.

In spite of her upbringing, she is relatively humble and good-natured, if a little reserved at first when placed into such unfamiliar surroundings.

She is a member of Golden Deer, as her proficiency in bows and long-range weaponry makes her a good fit for this House; although not gifted when it comes to close-combat fighting styles, she is quick on her feet and nimble. 

In addition to this, she possesses fertility magic, which - although passive - can be put to a great deal of uses (see here). This magic makes her particularly good at gardening, thanks to the properties it can give to the soil and the plants themselves. She definitely lacks in the fishing department, though.
