I went out of my way to vote "no drizzt doesn't like women" out of support for you. I've never read the books
on Drizzt's first ever raid on the surface, he couldn't bring himself to kill a little girl and convinced her to hide while the rest of his raiding party slaughtered the rest of the village and ransacked it and what not because he's just toooooo niiiiice and noble and honourable, and this understandably traumatised her immensely to survive that and have to see the desecrated bodies of her family when she emerged and she grew up to spend her entire life trying to learn his style of fighting so that she could kill him, and tried many times to do so, and eventually Drizzt killed her in a fight to the death
Instead of leaving this horrific chapter of his life behind, they then did a speak with dead type spell so that Drizzt could talk to her and get closure because he was just so saaaaaaad about having to kill her
She is one of the most fleshed out women in the series. The rest tend to be doe-eyed heroines who have no personality except to love the heroes, and sexy insane bitches who are completely evil but are always incredibly incompetent compared to Drizzt
Listen I fell victim to the hype in the early 00s but drow women deserve better, if you're gonna make them your permanent antagonists then give them some flavour!!! Make SOMEONE OTHER THAN DRIZZT COMPETENT!! LET THEM HAVE PERSONALITIES OTHER THAN AMBITIOUS MAN-HATING SLUT!!!!
