In which Corrin tries to be reassuring.
Baby Clay Sibs!
I was asking my bro what the DnD equivalent of baseball would be and he texted back ‘whackbat’ and I am 10000% on board with that.
The Material World of Wes Anderson explores the meticulously designed objects from his 9 films. I tried to have a mix of obvious to obscure to make the guessing more fun. I’ll post up 3 from one film each day and have answers and an explanation for the previous day’s objects. As a refresher his flims in chronological order are: Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Isle of Dogs.
Answers: Fantastic Mr. Fox - Fig.7: A whackbat from the fictitious cricket inspired game the kids play called ‘Whackbat’. Fig.8: The modified tubesock Jason Schwartzman’s character uses as a bandit mask. Fig.9: A ‘Red Remarkable’ apple from Mr. Bean’s farm, specifically grown for cider.

☝️ Evidently, this flowchart -- which is a little like Wes Anderson's fictional game called 'Whackbat' -- lays out how educators at Texas Tech are expected to justify educating their students. If class material and discussion doesn't directly address a student getting a license or professional certification of some kind, then the school's administration probably won't allow it to be taught.

Also, just for comparison, I give you Whackbat:
Police said a man was robbed of his rifle, and then grabbed another gun and began shooting at the alleged robber.
Martin said he was "open carrying" the rifle in a sleeve underneath his shirt and did not threaten anyone while inside the store.
The man then left the store, and he was confronted outside by another man with a gun, who announced a robbery and demanded his rifle.
The man gave up the rifle, then went to his vehicle and grabbed another gun as the alleged robber was walking away. He fired at the robber, and a shootout between the two began.
The alleged robber was shot several times.
Two innocent bystanders, both women, had just pulled up to the market and were also shot. Their injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
The man who was robbed of his rifle fled the scene. Moments later, police believe a third man came and shot the alleged robber again, then left.
It was unclear if the three men know each other.

this new whackbat anime looks amazing
"Basically, there's three grabbers, three taggers, five twig runners, and a player at Whackbat. Center tagger lights a pine cone and chucks it over the basket and the whack-batter tries to hit the cedar stick off the cross rock. Then the twig runners dash back and forth until the pine cone burns out and the umpire calls hotbox. Finally, you count up however many score-downs it adds up to and divide that by nine."
