The Addams family appeared in Jericho like an apparition, and most of the neighborhood wasn’t exactly thrilled about it. To some, they were too eccentric; to others, creepy—or simply just strange. Tyler was ten years old when they moved into the house next door, on October 31st, Halloween day. That was the first time he saw Wednesday — a dark-haired girl with two braids, a frown, and a headless doll. Even back then, he somehow knew this girl would turn his world upside down. I honestly hoped I’d be able to write seven different short stories, but in the end, I decided to pick a few prompts that spoke to me and turn them into one story where I could weave everything together. I hope you’ll enjoy this slightly spooky AU tale.
