apparently i can be a nature blogger now. (it's been only a sorta secret dream of mine.) and i think that's amazing. Follow me for more occasional heavy breathing as i take my phone with me as i clamber across logs and up and down embankments.
Clip is from last summer. I was taking my shift as fire marshal at the burn pile and just really loved the grasses and flowers around me. So I sat down and took out my phone.
Dry Prairie Meadow par Russell Tomlin
An Oregonian whose never left the state draws the US map... Where is NY actually because I couldn't figure it out and what goes in the mid west?? Did I draw Texas backwards??
Some pictures. Fall forest.
(I love a reblog, please keep the credit of @fruitgoat-studios or @fruitgoat)

Teasel on Meadowlark Prairie
Hi!
Welcome to all the new bots and a very special and genuine welcome to all the actual people who suddenly followed me just because @thebibliosphere did. And I guess I did several times promise gardens and other natural scenery pics. And also more of my Secret Garden AU. I will deliver on both. You just might have to put up with a bunch of other stuff in between. Sorry Not Sorry.
My computer is really wicked slow at the moment. I moved it almost 800 yards (1000 meters?) this morning. I'm really bad at distances. But whatever the distance, it's not playing nice with the wi-fi booster I set up.
So. Um. For a bit I guess I'm going to be using mostly my little Surface and my phone. Luckily, my phone has all the good pics.....
(Ha! Pick a pic at random really worked out for me.)
This was November 2020. (Is that time stamp correct?) Looking out over my neighbor's land. I love trees in silhouette; you can really just see how they've grown. That fir on the right is about 100 years old I'm guessing. The picture doesn't really show, but it's probably at least 80 feet tall. That base you're seeing is about 2 meters in diameter. I'd guess.
