Q & Alec | wesharedeverything
Multitasking came easy to Q, always had. He wrote code in an idle, off hand manner, dictating to himself beneath his breath while doing any number of things throughout the day. He looked over specs for revamped gadgetry while paging through poorly filled-out requisitions forms and considered software upgrades for field computers while skimming his email for high-priority administrative memos. All in a day's work.
In light of that, arranging a meeting with a single double-oh agent to go over his mission kit should have been easy enough, and should have dovetailed nicely with his other appointments for the afternoon.
At 1:14, Q glanced around the all but abandoned Q-Branch mainfloor and fought the urge to heave an exasperated sigh. "Fifteen minutes late nearly," he murmured to no one. "I suppose if I'd implied there was a bomb to be diffused or a buxom woman to seduce I might have gotten a more prompt showing."
