flumpazoid replied to your post:Common Law AU where Wes is a Vampire who finds...
Can Travis be a super-fluffy werewolf and you know he just rolls around in the dirt and lets his fur get matted and Wes has to bathe him, then brush and blow dry his fur afterwards because no werewolf of his is going to be seen like that in public
OMG YES! I have to do a little fic, this is too cute!
----
Wes can't turn his back to Travis for a second when ever the little monster was in his wolf from. All he ever did was get into things he shouldn't and roll in things that were dirty and smelly, just like any other dog would, much to Wes' annoyance. Granted Travis was nothing more than a pint size pup that yelped more than barked. Wes thought he was just getting a baby when he first picked up Travis, not a puppy toddler that nipped with sharpy puppy teeth when he wanted attention, and whined when he couldn't turn human when he wanted. Wes knew werewolves could be handfuls, but he never that they were that much of a handful.
So, of course, Travis would find the only mud puddle in the whole yard and , naturally, roll in it. Wes snarled when he turned to find flop into the puddle. In a flash he was towering over the pup, who pauses briefly when he noticed Wes, before squirming his back into it more.
Travis gave a sad sounding whine and tried to look as pitiful as possible.
"Don't,"Â Wes hissed.
He turned and stormed into the house, with Travis in hand. He stormed into the bathroom and tossed Travis in the tub lightly. The wolf pup landed awkwardly, flopping on his side. Wes chuckled at the sight. As annoying as Travis was, the sight of the black furred pup with mud mattered fur, flopping around in a tub was adorable. Travis yelped at Wes when he clambered to his feet again.
"I wouldn't have to do this if you stayed out of the mud." Wes said as he flicked the water on. Travis whined and tucked his tail between his legs, give Wes the saddest look he could muster. "Oh it's not that bad." Wes said.
He sprayed Travis with the water. He frowned at the sight of water turning brown. Travis whined, but he let Wes wash him. Mainly because he learned long ago there was no escaping bath time with Wes in charge. Wes' vampire speed and strength came in handy when dealing with a kid who did everything to get out of getting clean. Wes missed when Travis was a baby couldn't escape.Â
Once he was done washing Travis, Wes let him shake off the access water before he dried him with a towel. He carefully patted Travis tray before blow drying him and brushing him. Travis behaved himself for that before, he enjoyed being brushed.Â
Travis shifted suddenly when Wes was wrapping up brushing him. He was only six and his control over his shifting was limited. Had Travis been raised by other wolves he might have more control over it, than he did currently. Wes couldn't teach him things like that.
"Ah man," Travis frowned as he looked at his hands. "You were almost done too."
Wes chuckled. "Sometimes I think you roll in the mud so I'll brush you." Wes said with a dramatic sigh.Â
"I do not!" Travis pouted crossing his arms. Wes totally knows he's lying. "Its just a nice aftermath."Â
"Okay whatever you say."
"It's true."
"Alright, what do you say."
"Thanks Wes!"Â Travis smiled out.Â
He sprang to his feet and gave Wes a quick peck on the cheek. Werewolves were always over affectionate creatures. Travis hurried down the hall.
"Hey, put some clothes on!" Wes shouted after him. There was no answer from the young pup aside from laughter. "Travis!"
