a fern hound that wandered too far away from the grove. unluckily, she got captured and stuck in a pod by mordremoth, who thought to turn the poor hound's into one of his blighted servants, twisting her body into a new shape and corrupting her mind to serve him.

...unfortunately for mordremoth, this particular fern hound is dumber than a box of rocks. there was no mind to corrupt. mordy spat him out of the pod in bewildered disgust, and he went on his merry way to keep doing normal dog things. the only difference is that they can choose to have thumbs now and they WILL make that your problem.

5. What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

The dog tilts their head. They gently take your sleeve in their teeth and lay down, forcing you to sit with them. They put your hand on their fluffy ferns and nudge you until you pet them, then appear to fall asleep in a sunbeam. Eventually they wake up, and you can move on.

6. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?

She doesn't appear to understand the question, and instead gets distracted chasing her own tail. She DOES catch it, but then she stares at you with big sad doggy eyes, tail in mouth, as all two of her nonexistent braincells fail to figure out what to do next.

🖋 in commander au werevari doesn't get killed by balthazar, because he is a dog person. like yeah he's the god of war, but he's not a MONSTER, he can't hurt a dog. "well shit," he says. "i guess i can't be evil anymore"

alternatively he just kidnaps werevari. i haven't decided yet. both options are equally funny to me

🖋 taliesin is mostly made of flower petals (all my sylvari have different biology/plant parts theyre based on except when theyre just made of magic nonsense.) because of this, she bruises pretty easily, but that's okay, her gf is a healer and will smooch it better <3 she also has to have a diet of like. 50% sugar water. she's always carrying gummy bears and other sweets. which results in interactions like this:

taliesin: you are the light of my life, the moon to my night sky, my most precious flower. i would die before i let anything happen to you. i would do anything to make you happy.

saraid: can i have your last gummy bear

taliesin, tenderly: over my dead body

HMM. this one was hard, but fun!

1. caomh, diarmaid: tied for first place! they're both very detail-oriented. they have to be, what with engineering flesh minions/bighuge iron wrought figures/etc.

2. zenais: she would do them for fun in her free time, but 1. she has no free time and 2. they bug the shit out of her. she has a collection of them anyway JDJSJFJS

3. tarasios: i think they're good at it but i don't have an explanation why </3

4. jack: like zenais, she probably does them for fun in her free time, but she actually enjoys them

5. august: she's normal. it probably took a little bit of learning, but as marshal she had to learn how to quickly spot mistakes, so she would be pretty good at it

6. saraid, taliesin: i think they'd both be okay at it, they just don't do them often because. better things to do

7. iaxe, lyda: both pretty solidly bad at them. they both fidget too much and can't focus on them </3 gets distracted halfway through and goes to do something else
