This is a Moore Servo in brown, cream and black marbled celluloid c. mid to late 1920s.   This 4 1/4 inch long lever fill pen features gold filled trim and a 14 karat gold nib stamped MPCO over 14K.  The barrel is stamped THE MOORE PEN CO. over - SERVO - over BOSTON, MASS. U.S.A.  Moore acquired the Servo brand from William A. Welty, who designed and patented a lever fill system awarded on January 16, 1917 that he called the Servo filler.  Welty partnered with the Moore Pen Company to make the Servo Fountain Pen and eventually Moore took over the brand, producing it as a sub-brand to their main line.
