Well then,” Helena said, giving Shay a knowing look. “You can show me just how much of our relationship you can remember.” She leaned back in her chair, taking a sip from her mug. There is an undeniable amount of smugness in her smile as she looked over at Shay. Every day with Shay had been an adventure and so Helena was planning on letting Shay relive those moments. “Off you go. I’ll join you once I’ve finished cleaning up.”Â
Shay chuckled and stood up with a nod. “I’ll see you soon then.” She pressed a kiss to Helena’s cheek before heading off.Â
She was waiting at the site foretold by the first clue. The tree outside the B&B. Shay was up in branches over the tree, watching the clouds go by. She looked down as her lover walked up and beamed down at her. “I remember this moment. I had.... I had a hard day. Something triggered some memories. I soldiered on all day, hiding it. But you noticed. I always liked to climb this tree when I felt like I couldn’t breathe. So I climbed. Normally people didn’t notice when I disappeared and you did. You came out and talked to me. Didn’t ask what I was doing or what was wrong. Just talked. You made me feel like I could breathe again.” Shay blushed slightly “I think that was when I first started to fall for you. Cause you.... saw so much of me that I tried to hide. And you seemed to see it all. And accept me just the same.”

After he was finally (and against all advice) released from hospital and the moment he was, he had arranged a flight back to the USA to get back to work and check on the Warehouse and all that had been happening. He arrived at the air port and had to wait for a second flight to get where he wanted to be.
He wasn’t quick on his feet though, not at all. His left arm was bandaged up and supposed to be in a sling, but he needed it to walk on his crutches, both legs had been badly burned, his left leg almost completely useless as it swung solidly with his strides. He had managed to throw on his suit at least and aside from the bandages and crutches he looked as he normally did and he was thankful for that.
He found himself sitting and waiting at one of the empty airport gates, he had a good 10 hours before his next flight- delays were a dreadful thing- so he had claimed a row of empty seats and opted to rest for a while, not trusting enough to close his eyes though, more staring at the ceiling.

Lol. Okay. There is a verse where he survived Egypt but he’s a little beat up. He would want to return to the Warehouse though so it could work out if you’re willing to handle him?

Helena reached up and tugged Pete into a kiss. It was short, but passionate, then she pulled away. "For good luck on your next match." A faint blush crosses her cheeks. ((Because HG missed him))
He felt as if he had just been Stupefied. What kind of spell was it that Helena’s lips seemed to have that made him forget everything around him? The young man blinked several times after she pulled away.
“Well,” he finally spoke after having taken a deep breath and let out a chuckle. “This is going to bring me so much luck, it’s almost gonna be like cheating.”
