Fire: What’s a scene that you are dying to write?
Of course I'm answering this WHILE writing the final chapter of restless waves rise and fall. There's a lot of scenes I've had planned out for this fic since last summer and there are some BIG ones I'd love to talk about but it's obviously too spoilery because this is my one story with plot 😅
On a less-spoilery note, I've been slowly working on my Slytherin Lily fic here and there are there's a key post-Hogwarts Jily scene where they're just so soft and cute that I'm really excited to get to eventually.

Looking at it, I guess it’s probably no surprise that the characters in my original stories, like Myth City are wish-fulfillment...just not in the way most people would expect...
I just...I really, REALLY hate being an adult. I hate that I have to worry about looking for jobs, and not even being able to drive yet, and just NOW learning how to ride a bicycle, despite being in my late twenties...I just wish, so much, that I could be a teenager, or even little kid again. To be on the same level as my Discord friends...still have my life ahead of me, and not have to worry so much about the future and, well, everything.
Okay, so my kid/young teenager characters aren’t always going to have such perfect lives (especially considering a future story I have in mind...) but I write them in incredible worlds...surrounded and being supported by friends and family (often family of choice), without any adult problems...at least in the traditional sense. I probably sound really pathetic saying this--maybe it’s the fact that, once again, I’m more or less a decade older than my two closest friends on Discord...maybe it’s the fact that my mom and stepdad are popping by to visit us for a while tomorrow...I just...I’d give anything to be a kid again. Even if it wasn’t in an amazing fantasy world.
