he’s amazing at baseball but he never lets you tell him. the talk of many girls on campus but he’s devoted to you like you’ve both got rings on your fingers. you might as well have them, with the way he’s always calling you his wife. “the wifey wants to go to the park later so i can’t make it”, “my wife’s calling, hold on bro” (he’s gonna be on the phone for at least half an hour), “my princess likes that candy too” he says when he’s talking about you to other people. your confidence runs off on each other when you’re together, and there’s countless pics of you both serving face in the lens of someone’s digicam. your energy is magnetic, really, there’s something about the way you’re obsessed with each other that draws eyes to you. when you study with him you always ace your exam— you say he’s your good luck charm, he says you’re brilliant on your own. his hoodies are in constant rotation in your closet, even his baseball ones. especially his baseball ones. you like how obvious they are. you like people knowing you and caspian belong to each other.
