Met the first person to (correctly) assume that my dog is blind. And I’m weirdly excited about it.
So, Fig (my dog), was born visually impaired. She will be fully blind before she turns 3. But she still has her eyes. So most people do not realise she is blind (even when I have “BLIND DOG” written all over her stuff), and this person saw her eyes doing her -well we call it her Stevie Wonder eyes - atypical eye movements for a seeing dog and decuced Fig’s blind. Which is a first.
People we’ve previously met on walks will remember she’s blind but this is the first person to figure it out on their own without me twlling them.
In its own way, tomorrow is going to be a "last", and I'm both nervous yet oddly happy
so im really body conscious.... but today i went out in shorts without even wearing tights or anything and i kinda still felt cute. i think the last time i did that was probably like 10 years ago..?
