I'm only on day 2 of my week and look at those weekly points π Guess I gotta be really good the rest of the week!
Spreadsheet Mania!
usualchatter said: Have you shared a copy of this spreadsheet? I think itβs something that other people might like to use.
Just last week, thatgirlisstacked asked me about my spreadsheet, I sent her an e-mail filled with way too much information and a sample doc for her to get started. And just TODAY, whiskeybentandhellbound told me about her awesome spreadsheet, and I gotta say that I am stoked that other people are finding it useful!
So now that you mention it, I made a Google Doc that you can view then copy and paste into your own and adjust it to fit your needs. I like to use a Google Doc because I can update it no matter where I am.
Also, below the cut is some ramblings that I already sent to Becca about using it. Of course, you are always welcome to send me a message and Iβm happy to exchange emails and chat. Because the best way to keep at it is accountability!
On the up side, I tracked every point yesterday. On the down side, my weekly bank is looking pretty darn small going into the weekend. Whomp whomp. Gotta get my ass to the gym and get some points back!
Weekly Point Woes
So the last two weeks I have really not eaten a lot of my weeklies. I think I ended last week with 30 something. And at the moment I still have all 49 for this week.
I generally try and save all my weeklies for the weekend because I struggle the most with snacking then. But now I am worried my body has gotten used to not eating them, and if I do splurge it will send my weight up because I am eating more.
Tonight I am going to a food truck event and going to get a few non countable items, but I will just estimate. Also, on Sunday I a going to my cousins birthday party. I plan to eat before I get there or bring a Subway or something, but just in case I will have the weeklies.
But still I am worried now that eating them will make me gain. >.<

WW Weekly Points
WW people hour go you feel about using these? Do you think it was good to use them? Do you think it it aided our hurt your progress? I just would like some advice, thoughts :)
Breakfast and lunch all tracked for tomorrow (I don't call it today until I have been asleep). I still can't believe I have 43 weekly points left. Normally, I have used way more by now. Well, time for bed. Sleep well followers!
So, There Are These Things Called Points
I am going to give a quick rundown of the point system with weight watchers.
So, based on your weight you get a daily point amount. My current daily points are 71. Whether you use all 71 points during the day or not these points automatically reset to 71 at the beginning of every day and do not carry over. As you loose weight the points become less so as to adjust to your food intake.
Additionally, you get extra weekly points of 49. These points go with you throughout the week for you to use whenever and however you want. Maybe you want to save them for a special outing for the weekend or maybe you want to eat an extra snack during the day, but your out of your daily points. It's your choice.
Weigh Watchers provides a vast amount of information on what certain food items equal in points. They also include information on certain restaurant menu items and their point values. However, if you have an item and you are unsure of what the points will be WW (Weight Watchers) has a calculator you can use to get these points. The only information you will need are the items Fat, Carbohydrates, Fiber, & Protein. Put the numbers in a PRESTO...there are your points. Of course you need to add the points based on serving size of the food item.
One last thing is that all fruits and vegetables are all 0 points. You could eat as many of them as you want and they are and will always be 0. Which helps a lot when making dinner meals with lots of vegetables or you're in need of a snack midday to calm your "hungry" tummy. :P
*An Extra Tid Bit: When I started in 2010 there was a slightly different points system and vegetables and fruits all had a points associated with them.
