so my mum was watching a brief encounter earlier (ALL THE FEELINGS AGAIN OH MY GOD) and she was like "AWWWW mike genuinely did love Miranda but Miranda loved Gary" i totally agree with her and it was such a sad love triangle BUT i feel like Miranda did have feelings for mike deep down somewhere? Like we all know that in 'I do but to who?' She tells him that she loves him, but I feel it was a little bit deeper than that. i feel like she had a special relationship in her heart for him because of he fact that he was her first proper PROPER boyfriend and that he truly understood her regardless of what she did?
