....is this a safe place to admit the qauli left me a little upset, like i'm so happy george got pole he worked so hard for it all weekend but that crash wasnt safe it really should've been a double yellow.. he followed the rules perfectly but race control screwed up an now its kind of a rain cloud over everything...
This is a perfectly safe place to say this tbh. I agree that it most likely shouldβve been a double yellow and it was pretty unsafe. The FIA made a clear mistake, but they also rarely admit their mistakes (see Monaco), and even if they did I feel it would be unfair to take the pole away from George when he followed all of their rules perfectly.
It does kinda put a rain cloud over it knowing that there was a mistake made, and, while not at all Georgeβs fault, people are choosing to blame him. Right now we can just be glad that nothing occurred that wouldβve caused harm to Max, marshals, or any other driver. (Plus we can be happy that they let him keep his pole despite this).

Besides, it's kind of fun to see Jenson's reaction every time. "I could askβ" "Do not ask Britta." Jenson cut him off, because even the Prime Minister of England knew not to mess with Britta Roeske. "But, sir. It's only one weekend from the entire year. That's all I'm asking." He watched Jenson fought every instinct on his body to not fold at the way Seb just called him sir. "Maybe, I'll work something out." It was the only thing Jenson could say in the end. Now imagine Seb's surprise when he noticed who's going to give him his 1st place trophy. "Please welcome the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Mr. Jenson Button." There he was, in the most well fitted suit Seb had ever seen Jenson wore (and there were a lot of suits) walking towards Seb with the first place trophy that he earned. When he was close enough, however, Jenson made a gesture of giving Seb the trophy before pulling it back. "Not quite." Jenson simply said before reaching for Seb's face with his free hand, and kissed him. Right in front of hundreds of thousands of people watching all around them. But Seb was too far gone to actually care, he barely even registered all the cheers and gasps coming from below the podium. Jenson then once again pulled back giving him a wink (supposedly, the prime minister can't wink! put that in the press) and that cheeky smile of his that only Sebastian Vettel had the rights to see. Then, he finally gave him the trophy. "Congratulations, Mr. Vettel." Jenson said in his most firm and professional tone possible, looking all pristine and confident like he didn't rock Seb's entire world just then.
