A/N: I want more people to open up their eyes to Weedytuye, as I believe they're quite a cute pairing. So, I decided the best way to get people interested in a niche ship I like, is to write fanfiction of it! This fic is mainly description heavy, and doesn't have a lot of dialogue. Also, this is my last fic under the psuedo 'ocearns', haha. I'm a bit scared..
There's a thing that always stroke me as weird regarding Weedy's design and that's that she as an ægir shares the traits of the Abyssal Hunters. It's quite intriguing given that she's also a bioengineer 🤔 you know, given the hunters are a result of biological engineering, but there's nothing that would indicate the slightest connection, not a single thing!
I thought that maybe one of her parents could've been a hunter but that simply doesn't add up on the timeline + hard to imagine you volunteer to become a super soldier and then decide you want to have a child, it wouldn't even be allowed I'd wager. Now I did only read the summary on the wiki, so I might not be qualified to talk about the contents of her operator records, but she doesn't really put up with any of the seaborn stuff at any point, does she?
I am inclined to believe it's coincidental, but it's such an odd choice given the memo of the hunters. Any Weedy enthusiast on the line?
