I'm enjoying this book about the making of Hamish Macbeth by Jonathan Melville. Especially learning that Zippy, the dog who played the original Wee Jock, was such a stinky, bitey little dickhead that they were not actually sad about replacing him, despite "Wee Jock's Lament" being a very moving and beautiful episode!

1 - OUAT made me very sad.
2 - I got paid.
So, today, because I was still sad and because I still had money, I decided to buy myself a new Robert Carlyle DVD to cheer myself up. Faced with the choice of Ravenous, To End All Wars and Trainspotting, naturally I decided on Hamish Macbeth instead.
I am now in love with Wee Jock...
