No, but seriously.

Dr. Nicholas Rush from Stargate Universe is THE whumpable man of all time.

First of all, he looks like this:

Don't let his sad wet eyes fool you. This man is a rat bastard asshole liar with a superiority complex (but the skills to back it up). But he gets into SITUATIONS.

Like the time he woke up during open heart surgery (his second in a week's time).

Or the time he got abducted by aliens and no one even knew until they accidentally rescued him (oops).

Or the time his Dead Wife died AGAIN (you had to be there).

Sometimes he accidentally kills people (and then himself).

Sometimes his body gets beat up when he's not even in it (another long story).

Rush's skills include: Begging people not to beat him up! (They do it anyway):

His general existence is getting whumped, doing crimes, and basically going around looking like an absolute prey animal at all times:

HE IS A BISEXUAL DISASTER CREECHUR AND I LOVE HIM MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF. I CANNOT STRESS TO YOU ENOUGH — even though he is a scheming, lying, Machiavellian jerkass (with a heart of.. well... maybe silver, but not even gold), who trapped 80 people on a derelict alien spaceship with no way home (and no real regrets over it), at the end of the day, though, THIS MAN IS A MATH TEACHER.
