Camp NaNo Diary: Days Twenty-Four and Twenty-Five
Yesterday I spent three and a half hours doing final edits and proofreading on It Gets Worse! and by the end I was beginning to think I’d started writing in Japanese by accident, it was making that little sense to me.
But it is done, and the first chapter is now posted under its actual title, Forged Through Fire, but it will always be ‘It Gets Worse!’ to me.
In the meantime I’ve just been working on bits and pieces from Haven to keep my word count goal up.
(Finishing Haven and bringing it into a coherent format will be July’s Camp project.)

Last lines written yesterday:
It’s the first morning of the rest of their lives, the first morning of beginning to rebuild after everything that’s been happening for the past few years, and it’s going to be the best morning she can make it.
Last lines written today:
“It just goes to show the mundaneness of everyday life. Your husband is immortal and pretty much on a one man mission to save the world as we know it from imminent destruction and yet you still have to worry about giving your kids The Talk.”
