My partner's mother will be here in a few hours, so I decided this was as good a time as any to start throwing arrangements together from plants in our garden. The roses are Munstead Wood, Beverly, Benjamin Britten, Maurice Utrillo, Duchesse de Brabant, and Hot Cocoa, with hairy wedelia (Wedelia acapulcensis) and Verbena bonariensis as fillers. (Not pictured: many thrips, but that's the no-spray life.)

One more OC thought based on how @mxboxlocks describes Insanity on their Wilson artblog in this post here. Which is a banger by the way if you don't follow their blogs go now.
Warble gets very angry when insane, to the point where they lash out at others. They think people are looking down on them for their physical shortcomings, and see their friends as enemies. Or as the family they left behind when they joined the survivor group. It's best to force them to sleep when they get near insanity. Because otherwise they go right for the throat.
On the inverse everything scares Wedelia while she's insane. All the things that she's already afraid of seem even bigger, and she tends to attack out of fear if anything. But usually she just curls up and tries to hide. Which would be fine if shadow creatures weren't a thing. She's a kid, and insanity makes her nightmares just all the more real and all the more scary.
