No thundersnow here that I saw unfortunately </3 We didn't even get that much snow here in the first place. I think the storm tracked farther east than was initially expected, so we only got maybe 3-4 inches, where places closer to the coast got like a foot or more. But yeah, no thundersnow, which was def a bummer

So the winter storm warning for the entire state of New Jersey has been upgraded to a goofy silly blizzard warning. Including fun phrases like “very heavy, crippling snowfall” and “potentially historic”
Notification I just got from my Weather Channel app: “it’s peak tail-wagging weather! Great time to get some walks in!”

Noctilucent clouds forever !! They’re the highest kind of clouds there are (way up in the mesosphere over 250,000 feet up) and they’re only visible when the sun illuminates them from underneath. Their name literally translates to “night shining” clouds <33
