Hello, tumblr! I saw something on here the other day that worried me, so I decided to Do Science about it. But I can't do it alone: I need your help to build the dataset!
Here's what I need you to do:
If you see a post with a "mature content" label, and it's 2026, DM me a link to the post.
Yes, that's really it.
I am hoping to collect several thousand such posts, so that I have a decent sized dataset. I do not care what the post is about; if it's labeled as "mature content", I want to add it to my dataset.
If I get 10,000 posts in my dataset before August 31st 2026, I will post my preliminary findings then. I won't feel comfortable calling my findings "settled" before 2027, unless I get over 50,000 posts.
Okay so end of day update: Got to Chicago and met up with my friend (hi Scrap !! :3)! We ended up deciding to bump Great America to Saturday because the smoke from the fires up in Canada was REALLY bad today. So instead we went to the Field Museum! I’d been once before but it was cool to go again!

But one thing that was rlly cool was that they had that Pokémon fossil exhibit that’s been going around to different museums!! It was a complete surprise, I had no idea it was gonna be there but it was cool! They had models of a bunch of the fossil Pokemon, some as what they normally looked like, and others as just the skeletons. Was really cool to see, my favs were probably Tyrantrum and Aurorus :3
Then at the end I also bought this super cute exclusive fossil hunter Pikachu plush and this rlly cool shirt that shows a bunch of the showcased fossil Pokemon with their irl counterparts! These two things may have set me back 80 bucks aha but I still like them :3
Oh yeah and also got a cool Archeops card as a bonus too :3
