HARVEST HOUSE CHRISTIAN CENTER DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 21st NOVEMBER, 2022 ACT, DON’T JUST WAIT And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: Exodus 14.15 When the children of Israel left Egypt, they came to the Red sea that became a barrier between them and the promised land. And their adversaries, the Egyptians, were fast advancing towards them from behind. Then Moses cried out to GOD for help but GOD said, “Moses, why do you cry to me. Tell the people to go forward!” (Ex.14:15-16). GOD’S response is most remarkable because Moses had thought it was GOD’S responsibility, but GOD said, “No, you do something; it’s your responsibility!” Sometimes we blame GOD for what isn’t His responsibility. GOD has already done everything He needs to do. Everything else is entirely up to us. GOD doesn’t want you to wait any longer; He’s given you His Word, so Do It! It’s the doer of the Word that’s Blessed in His deeds (James1.25). Let the Word be in your heart and mouth at all times. Don’t just say what you see, declare what you want to see according to the Word and act on it. CONFESSION: I Live conscious of the Truth of GOD’S Word this season and I declare my mind is Strengthened to do His Word, my hands are strengthened to commence His Will and I enjoy Grace to finish it in record time.
