WE ALL GO A LITTLE MAD SOMETIMES - CHAPTER 7 (THE FINAL CHAPTER!)
CHAPTER 1 - CHAPTER 2 - CHAPTER 3 - CHAPTER 4 - CHAPTER 5 - CHAPTER 6
The next morning, Sidney awoke in her bedroom. She was not alone. Next to her lay Billy though he was still sound asleep. She softly got up off of the bed and went to walk downstairs. Before she made it to the door, Billy awoke.
âSid, youâre up?â he asked wiping his eyes.
âUh, yeahâ she replied, turning back to him.
âAre you in the mood to go to school?â he smiled at her as she sat next to him on the bed.
âNot reallyâ she giggled softly âbut we need to go, we both canât just stay home!â
âWell, at least I triedâ he said laying back down.
âGet up and get ready!â she shouted pulling the blankets off of him.
He laughed and took hold of her, making her shriek softly. She was happy, happier than she had ever been. Lying next to him with his arms around her waist, he kissed her softly on the lips.
âCome on stud bucket, weâre going to school!â she said getting up.
On the way to school, she and Billy didnât talk too much. They sat on the bus and Sidney couldnât help but think about the current situation. She had moved on in time, but she had changed things completely. Billy was meant to spend the night in jail, but he spent it with Sidney instead. Someone attacked them last night and it wasnât Billy. It could only be Stu. Tonight was supposed to be the final act, the party, everything that changed her life. What if it didnât play out correctly? Would her entire life change? What about Billy? Now that she had him back, she didnât want to let him go. What if he still wanted to kill her and this was all just a trick to convince her. She had no idea what to do or who to ask.
Arriving at school, she got off the bus with Billy and met up with Tatum and Stu.
âHi guysâ said Stu with a goofy grin.
Billy took hold of him and pulled him around the corner of the building. Sidney looked at Tatum confused.
âWhatâs that all about?â she asked Tatum.
âNo idea, Stuâs been acting weird all morning. I donât know whatâs up with him lately. He just seems different, you know?â
Sidney nodded at Tatum. Before she could reply, Billy and Stu returned. Stu looked startled and Billy seemed calm.
Tatum joined Stu and Billy joined Sidney. Sidney leaned into Billy and whispered in his ear âWhat was that about?â
âOh nothingâ he said, âI was just talking with Stu about something. Thereâs no need to worryâ he said with his sly smile.
Sidney just smiled at him. She didnât want to argue with him over it, so she left it at that.
After school, Stu met up with Sidney. âAre you coming to my fiesta tonight?â he asked her.
âUh, is Billy coming?â she asked.
âOf course heâs coming! What kind of party would it be without Billy?â he smiled.
âOkay, Iâll comeâ she replied quickly. She knew she had to go to the party, whether she wanted to or not. She needed to finish these days off so she could go back to the future. The only way to do that was to relive the party and relive it correctly.
That night, Billy came to her house to pick her and Tatum up. He drove them both to Stuâs house. As they arrived, Randy came up to them, looking shocked.
âDID YOU HEAR?â he shouted.
âHear what Randy?â Tatum said quickly.
âPrincipal Himbry was killed today. They found his body guttedâ he said.
âOh my godâ said Sidney. Well, she didnât save her principal. She needed to save Tatum though. She could not let her die.
âDo they know who did it?â Tatum asked.
âIt was still the ghostface guy, they donât know who it is!â said Randy.
âHey guys whatâs up?â Billy entered the conversation out of nowhere, as he did best.
Randy left as soon as Billy arrived and shouted to the rest of the party that Principal Himbry was dead. He looked startled by their reaction.
They all began to laugh and shout and scream. The majority of the kids left the party. They were all too hyped and wanted to see if the body was still there. Randy stood dumbfounded as all the teenagers celebrated at the thought of their principal being dead.
Stu popped up behind Tatum and kissed her on the neck. âWould you mind getting me a bear babe?â he asked looking into her eyes.
Billyâs reaction to Principal Himbry being dead was just as shocked as Randy for some reason. He took hold of Stu yet again and dragged him into the kitchen. Sidney tried to make out what they were saying, but it was virtually impossible.
Tatum was leaving to head to the garage, but Sidney was not letting her go anywhere alone.
âTatum, wait up!â she shouted after her. âUm, letâs go pick a movie from Stuâs collection!â
âBut Sidney, Iâm getting Stu a bee-â
âNo, he can get that when he gets backâ. She took hold of her and took het into the lounge.
Billy came back into the room, but Stu was gone. He took a seat next to Sidney.
âUh, Billy, whereâs Stu?â Sidney hesitated.
âOh, heâs getting a beerâ said Billy calmly.
âBut, he just asked Tatum to get one for himâ she replied confused.
Billyâs eyes widened and he shot up from the seat, âFUCK!â
Randy darted after him to the garage. âStay hereâ Billy said to Sidney and Tatum as he walked off.
âWhat do they know that we donât?â asked Tatum, confused.
Sidney shrugged her shoulders, for she knew too.
Minutes later, Sidney and Tatum heard screaming coming from outside. Both girls were scared as fuck, Tatum more than Sidney. They got up off of the couch and went to leave the room. As they did, they were stopped by a large ghost face figure holding Billy in his arms. Billy was clasped around the waist and had a knife up against his neck. Sidney ran up to him, but before she could, Billy stopped her.
âSidney, STAY BACK!â he screamed at her.
What the fuck was going on. Tatum stepped back and stayed silent.
âBilly, whereâs Randy?!â she shouted.
âHeâs been shot!â
Ghostface was not talking. He was just moving closer and closer. Tatum stepped further away. As she did, Ghostface threw Billy to the ground and shot Tatum in the top of her chest. She fell to the floor and Sidney ran straight to her in tears.
âNo â no, Tatum, get up. No, please, God â no!â
She got up to check on Billy who was fine. He moved straight to Sidney. She grabbed his arm and asked if he was hurt. He seemed fine, but they were both in danger. Ghostface was moving closer. As he did, he revealed his mask.
It was Stu.
âSurprise Sidney!â he said with that goofy smile. Pulling the costume off, Billy didnât seem so shocked.
âYouâre fuckrag of a boyfriend ditched me. He wanted you dead too, did you know that? But something, I donât know what it was, stopped him. He left me with the blame, left me with the pain. We killed your mother one year ago Sidney. It was Billy. He killed your mother. IT WAS HIS FUCKING IDEA! I DIDNâT WANT TO DO IT, BUT HE MADE ME DO IT! SIDNEY, HE MADE ME FUCKING DO IT!â
Sidney looked over at Billy. She already knew this shit, so it didnât come as a shock.
âBUT THE LAST FEW DAYS, IâVE BEEN ON MY OWN. IâVE BEEN KILLING EVERYONE ON MY OWN. HE LEFT ME ALL THE FUCK ALONE. DONâT YOU THINK HE DESERVES TO DIE TOO SIDNEY? YOUR BOYFRIEND? THE BOY YOU TRUSTED! HE LIED TO YOU, YOU STUPID BITCH. HE KILLED YOUR SLUT OF A MOTHER. LOOK WHAT HE DID TO ME? LOOK WHAT HE FUCKING TUNRED ME INTO. DO YOU THINK I WANTED TO KILL ALL THOSE PEOPLE? HE MADE ME DO IT.â Stu was losing the plot; he was spitting and slobbering everywhere.
âWell, guess what now? You both die. But first, you watch your dick head of a boyfriend die first. He fucked up my life. I was perfectly fine until he got me into this and then he leaves me? What kind of a best mate are you, you fucking ass!?â
âStu, I told you to fucking stop. I learnt my lesson, why didnât you learn yours? I tried to fucking help you! You fucking rejected me and kept killing people!â
âBILLY, I DIDNâT WANT YOUR FUCKING SYMPATHY. I WANTED YOU TO HELP ME FUCKING KILL SIDNEY! THATâS ALL I WANTED. YOU MESSED UP MY HEAD, WHY CANâT YOU JUST HELP ME KILL HER? HUH? WHY? WHY? FUCKING WHY? GODDAMIT!â
âBECAUSE STU, I FUCKING LOVE HER, OKAY? I do, I love her. Her mother fucked up, not her, itâs not her fault!â he said.
Sidney looked over at Billy and a tear shot down her face. She wanted to run to him and hug him tighter than ever before.
âAll I wanted is her mother to die for what she did to my family. My mother left me Sidney. It was your mothers fault and Iâm sorry, but itâs not your fault, I would never, ever try to hurt youâ, he said calmly looking at her.
âOH HOW FUCKING SWEET IS THIS?â shouted Stu. âYOU BOTH NEED TO DIEâ, he slobbered. âI CANâT STAND TO SEE YOU HAPPY LIKE THIS. YOU BOTH DESTROYED MY LIFE, DONâT YOU GET IT? NOW YOU DESERVE TO DIE!â
Stu darted towards Billy with the knife and Billy was weak. He wasnât able to rush forward quick enough. Sidney was not going to let him die. If thatâs the one thing she changed in this whole experience, was that she brought Billy back to the future with her. She ran in front of Stu and before she reached Billy, he kicked her in the head and she fell to the floor and went black.
Sidney woke up in a hospital. She had no idea how long it had been since the attack. Looking around the room, it looked familiar. It looked far too advanced to be one of the older hospitals. She looked at her arms, her skin looked older. Everything looked older. She felt her stomach cramp; it was her stitches in her stomach from where Jill had stabbed her. She was back, back in the future. Looking around the room, she wondered what had happened 15 years ago, she must have changed everything. She was still attacked by Jill obviously, because she was still clearly a jealous bitch. Stu must have killed Billy after she was knocked out. Just the thought of that made her cringe.
Seconds later, the doctor walked in. âSidney, are you awake?â she asked.
âUh, yeah, I amâ. Her voice was much deeper than it was 15 years ago. It sounded a little odd to her.
âOkay, because some people want to see youâ smiled the doctor.
Into the room came Tatum and Randy. TATUM AND RANDY? Her heart sank and her face filled with shock. She felt like crying. Tatum still looked the same, just a little older and matured. She still sported the same smile and ran straight to Sidneyâs side. She hugged her trying not to hit her stitches. Randy still looked the same. His face was slightly chubbier and his hair was a little more grey, but still the same old adorable Randy.
âIâm glad youâre okay Sidneyâ he smiled at her.
âIâm so happy to see you guysâ, she smiled at them, almost about to cry.
Tatum and Randy took a seat next to her bed. She was extremely happy that they were safe and still in her life. She managed to save them, which made her feel extremely fortunate. As she softly closed her eyes, she heard footsteps down the hallway. They were soft, but moving quickly. In came to the room a handsome man. A man she recognized. A man that made her leaps off the bed, stitches or no stitches. It was Billy Loomis. She froze and burst out into tears. Leaping into his arms, he was unable to grab her as he had something else in his hands. It was rather large. Turning around, he revealed a small girl. âCassie, give your Mummy a hugâ said Billy handing the small girl to Sidney. She was around 4 or 5 and had long brown curls and deep brown eyes. She looked like her mother, but had her fathers half smile. Billy looked exactly the same, if anything he had become much more handsome.
Sidney was dumbfounded. She was holding her child. The child she had with Billy Loomis. She was perfect, everything was perfect. âHi Cassieâ, Sidney said looking into her daughters eyes, which resembled her fathers.
âIâm glad youâre okay Mummyâ, she said and Sidney started to cry. She buried her daughterâs head into her neck and stroked her long dark curls. She couldnât be happier. Billy joined the hug and kissed Sidneyâs and Cassieâs heads. He hugged both of his girls.
Sidney lifted her head and looked at Billy.
âCassie, why donât you come play with Uncle Randy for a little while and you let Mummy and Daddy talk for a while?â said Randy taking Cassieâs small fingers. Tatum winked at Sidney and followed Randy out.
As soon as they left, Billy kissed Sidney on the lips and hugged her tightly.
âItâs so good to see youâ he said to her. âDid you get my letter?â
Sidney backed away from him, âYouâre letter?â she asked.
âYeah, the one I sent before you fell asleep.â
âSo, you were really alive? What?â Sidney was confused.
âSidney, I sent you back in time. 15 years ago, I didnât die. I watched you grow, I watched everyone attack you over the years, but no one ever knew I was alive. It took me until now to realize how much I needed you in my life. I couldnât stand watching the sidelines. I love you Sidney.â
âBilly, so you knew about everything back you know, when you sent me back 15 years ago? You recited everything from out past, exactly like we did before? So many times. You remembered.â
âI did know. I knew everything, I remembered everything. I could never forget you. Now do you remember why I looked at Jill oddly?â he laughed. âThat baby was evil right from the beginningâ he said making Sidney laugh.
âOh my gosh, why didnât you say something Billy? You would have helped me, I had no idea what I was doingâ she said to him.
âI couldnât. It would just stuff up the future if you knew, but I had to go back. I had to stop myself from being involved with Stu and I had to make you fall in love with me againâ
âWell, I guess it worked Billyâ she said softly.
âYou love me again?â he asked.
âI donât think I ever stoppedâ, she replied.

What did you guys think of the finale? Should I do another fanfic?
WE ALL GO A LITTLE MAD SOMETIMES - CHAPTER 6
CHAPTER 1 - CHAPTER 2 - CHAPTER 3 - CHAPTER 4 - CHAPTER 5
The next morning, Sidney woke up. She was in her room. Remembering the events of the previous night, she hoped that today was the right day and she had moved forward. Looking at her clothes, she realized she was in the clothes she put on the night before. Today was the right day, she had moved on. Something played out correctly last night. Though last night was played out differently, she wondered. What if she was sent back to change everything that happened? To stop Billy or Stu? Or something?
She put on her blue t-shirt, her jeans and left for school. As she arrived, she met a storm of reporters shouting about a murder, just like it had happened last time. Looking around she felt someone tap her on her arm. It was Tatum.
âTatum, what is going on?!â she asked pretending not to know what had happened.
âDonât you know? Casey Becker and Steve Orth were killed last night!â she said sounding shocked.
âWHAT? No way!â said Sidney.
âThey were ripped open from end to endâ added Tatum.
âOh my god, do they know who did it?â asked Sidney, pretending not to know.
âThey are fucking clueless!â she shouted.
Sidney knew who had killed Casey and Steve, but she did wonder if Billy had still done it as he was with Sidney last night. That phone call from Stu didnât sound too pleasant either, maybe Billy wasnât there, she thought. That could be why he was angry.
Sidney left and went to class. On the way, she spotted Stu and he didnât smile at her. Usually he showed off his goofy smile, but today he didnât seem so lively. Sitting in class, she stared over to the seat next to her. Itâs where Casey Becker once sat. She didnât save Casey or Steve, so clearly the murders were still going to happen. What the fuck was she sent back to change? She was confused now more than ever. By stopping Billy from killing Casey, things could be different between them, but what about Stu? He would still want to kill them, wouldnât he?
Before class ended, she went to Principal Himbryâs office for questioning and then met her friends outside of class for lunch. It was not like it happened 15 years ago at all. It was awkward, no one was talking. Randy seemed fine and so did Tatum, but something was wrong between Billy and Stu. Sidney sat between Billyâs legs trying to keep an eye on Stuâs facial expressions. He might give something away as to what was going on.
âSo, their bodies were guttedâ said Randy.
âThank you Randy!â shouted Billy, sounding angry.
Stu would have usually butted in by now, but nothing. He just seemed angry. Tatum looked around to him and whispered something to his ear.
âIâm fineâ, he shouted to her and got up. Leaving the scene, Tatum looked startled.
âWhat the fucks his problem?â asked Randy.
âI donât knowâ said Tatum.
âI think he did it!â said Randy.
Billy got up and shoved him in the side. âNobody said he did it!â shouted Billy close to his face.
âOkay, okay!â Randy said backing away.
âStu was with me last nightâ, said Tatum softly.
âWELL IS THAT BEFORE OR AFTER HE SLICED AND DICED!?â shouted Randy jokingly.
âShut up you fuck rag!â said Billy getting angry.
Sidney was looking disturbed and anxious. What the fuck was going on? This was never how it played out before. Was it meant to play out like this? She wished she could ask Randy what to do, he was the only one who would know, but he would just think she is crazy. After all, he told her not to mention anything to anyone, even him.
Sidney got up, looked into Billyâs eyes, kissed him softly and left the fountain. He sat up staring at the ground as she left. Something was wrong with him, but Sidney had no idea what.
After school, Sidney went home and locked all the doors. Her phone rang as soon as she entered the door and she went to answer it.
âHello?â she answered.
âSidney! Itâs Aunt Kate!â shouted the woman on the other line.
Sidney froze. âUm, Hi!â she replied.
âHow are you? Your father asked me to keep an eye on you while he was awayâ, she added.
âIâm fine, thanks for asking. How are you?â said Sidney.
âIâm great, your cousin is fine too, sheâs not as small as when you last saw herâ she laughed.
Jill, she was talking about Jill. Jill was dead now, well dead in the future, she thought. She had to say something. âWell, thatâs niceâ, she said.
âWould you like to see her?â Kate asked. âI can come over and keep you company for a few hours tonight, so youâre not alone?â
âUmâ. Sidney couldnât say no. âOkay, sure, yeah, you canâ she said knowing she would regret it.
âOkay, see you soon!â
Fuck. What had she done? She was going to see Jill. An innocent child who turned into a psychotic, jealous killer. Sidney didnât know if she was ready to see her. She decided to ring Billy and ask him to come over too, that way he couldnât attack her like he did last time.
Around half an hour later, the doorbell rang and Sidney went to open it. It was Billy. He sported that half smile that she loved and she kissed him on the cheek.
âHey Sid!â he smiled. âWhy did you want me to come over?â
âOh, just to keep me company, my cousin is coming over tooâ, she said.
âYour cousin?â Billyâs smile suddenly turned to a frown; his face was confused, or even shocked.
âYeah, Jillâ said Sidney.
It took Billy a moment to answer. âOh, yeah, thatâs fineâ, he said walking into her house. As they were about to shut the door, Kate came shouting around the corner.
âSidney! Weâre here!â she said holding a child in her arms. It would need to be Jill. Sidney looked at the baby. Her dark brown hair was short and she looked exactly like Jill, just smaller. She couldnât help but stare at the baby that is now dead in real time.
Sidney looked over at Billy and he too was staring at Jill. Just staring, it wasnât a happy stare, but more like a death stare. Why? What the fuck?
Billy did not smile once the whole time Kate and Jill were over. Sidney talked to Kate quite often, while Billy just sat in silence. On many occasions he looked over at Jill. His eyes grew angry each and every time he did. He didnât even know Jill, Sidney thought, so why was he looking at her like that? After a few hours, Kate and Jill left and Sidney was left with Billy.
âAre you okay?â she asked him.
âUh yeah, Iâm fineâ he said to her.
âWhy were you looking at Jill like that?â
âLike what? I wasnât looking at her anyway. Sheâs a child Sidneyâ
Sidney was so confused, but before she could say anything else, she heard a knock at the door.
Both Sidney and Billy turned to the door, looked shocked and began to walk closer to it.
âDonât open it Sidneyâ said Billy whispering in her ear.
âIt could be anyone Billy, itâs probably Kate with Jillâ she said.
âI can guarantee that itâs notâ said Billy.
âWho is it⊠I SAID, WHO IS IT!?â shouted Sidney, staring at the door.
âSidney, stay away from the door! Itâs not your fucking cousin!â
âHow the fuck would you know, Billy?â
âBECAUSE, I KNOW!â he shouted grabbing her.
After four encounters with Ghostface, Sidney was afraid of nothing, not even a knock at the door. She let loose of Billyâs grip and ran to the door. Opening it, she was shocked at what she saw.
It was Ghostface. He ran towards her, pushing her to the floor. It wasnât Billy in the costume. He was running towards them. Ghostface puled Sidney up and took hold of her, putting the knife against her neck. Billy didnât move. If he did, Ghostface would slit her neck.
âYou fuck rag, LET HER GO! NOW!â shouted Billy.
Ghostface didnât say anything. He just looked directly at Billy and Billy made a face at him. The face was serious, his eyes grew deeper looking and he looked as if he was going to go made.
âYou know what will happen if you donât let her goâ said Billy, acting calm and serious.
Ghostface threw her to the floor and ran out of the house. Billy went straight to Sidney and helped her up. Her head was bleeding from when she was thrown to the floor. Looking at Sidneyâs front porch, Ghostface had ran into the darkness. He was gone. Billy looked just as scared as Sidney. Why was he scared? Billy took hold of Sidneyâs phone and rang Dewey. Moments later, Dewey arrived and took Sidney to the hospital to get her head checked. As she left with Dewey, Billy stared at her deeply. Â His eyes connected with her. She knew something wasnât right. He knew something or he knew who was in the costume. It would have been Stu, but why didnât Billy let him kill her? Her world had been turned upside down and not one thing made sense to her.

What did you think?
WE ALL GO A LITTLE MAD SOMETIMES - CHAPTER 5
CHAPTER 1 - CHAPTER 2 - CHAPTER 3 - CHAPTER 4Â
Sidney put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and headed to school. Walking into Woodsboro High never felt more thrill seeking. She knew she had to live today out correctly or else she would just jump between days and need to relive them all again, which she did not want to do. Trying to remember what happened this time 15 years ago wasnât too hard. She remembered she didnât see Billy all morning, but she had a class with him at the end of the day, so until then, she played things out normally. At lunch she met up with Tatum.
âDo you want to catch up tonight Sid?â she asked her.
âIâm sorry Tatum, Iâve got an assignment I need to finish and type up tonight, itâs due tomorrow, maybe some other timeâ, she smiled at her. Before Tatum could reply, Billy and Stu joined them.
âHey babeâ, Stu said sitting behind Tatum so that she was in-between his legs. She turned around and smiled at him forgetting that she was talking to Sidney. Billy went straight to Sid. He didnât say a word; he only kissed her on the lips and sat right next to her. Everything was playing out how it usually did. She smiled at him.
âWhatâre you doing tonight?â Stu asked Tatum.
âOh nothing, how about you?â she said softly.
âWell, maybe we could do something?â he smirked.
âI like that ideaâ, Tatum said turning around and kissing him. Sidney looked at Billy and they shared a small smile between them. She missed these moments, when she understood everything he was thinking. After tonight, his first murder, she thought she would never be able to understand him again. Something inside of her made her want to tell him everything and made her want to change what was going to happen tonight, but there was no way that could be what needed to be changed. It couldnât be, but then again, maybe it was. Maybe she had to stop Billy from going to Caseyâs tonight with Stu. It was worth a try. If that was not what needed to be changed, she would just need to relive the day again until she changed it, right? It couldnât be that bad. She wished she could talk to Randy about it, but he wouldnât have a clue what she was talking about. He told her himself, she wasnât meant to tell anyone that she was from the future.
The bell rang and Billy got up, he took hold of Sidneyâs hands and pulled her to class with him. The class seemed to drag on; they couldnât talk too much because the class was working in strict silence. She decided she needed to prevent Billy from going to Caseyâs tonight and knew there was only one way to do that. She got a note out of her book and wrote on it:
âWhat are you doing tonight?â
She folded it and slipped it next to Billy, who was sitting right beside her. He took the note, opened it and wrote something. Folding it again, he passed it to Sidney. She opened it and read what it said.
âJust staying home watching Televisionâ
Staying home watching Television? She thought. He would have at least said he was doing something, he is meant to be killing Casey tonight. Looking to the other side of her was Casey Becker. She looked happy and normal. She was busy at work, smiling to herself. Sidney acknowledged the few moments that she had looking at her in English. Those moments wonât last. It was merely impossible to think that in a few hours, she would be dead and the boy sitting next to her would be the one that killed her. It was all too overwhelming.
She took her pen and continued to write.
âWell, did you want to come over? You can watch Television with me? (:â
She decided to add a smile after what she wrote and folded the note. She wanted to do anything that she could to prevent him from going to Caseyâs. She didnât care if Stu went or not, but she wanted to stop Billy. For some reason, she felt like she was falling for him all over again. Seeing him this way was what she always loved. She had never forgotten about him and now that she had him back, she would do anything to keep him from snapping. It helped that she knew about Roman and how he was the one who helped convince Billy. Billy would have never known about her mother if it wasnât for Roman, so it wasnât entirely his fault. Actually, it wasnât his fault that his mother abandoned him. She tried to forget that he had murdered her mother, but that was the only thing that prevented her from falling for him entirely. All Sidney wanted to do was help him. After Billy read the note and wrote a reply, he passed it back.
âIâll be there ;)â
That night, Sidney went home like usual. She was waiting eagerly for Billy to come over. She had hoped he didnât go to Caseyâs and went straight to her instead, but she couldnât ask him if he had gone or not. He would know something was up. Sitting at her desk, typing up her assignment, she waited for him. Suddenly, that familiar noise played out. She heard it, she knew what it was. Moving over to her window, she looked to both sides. There he was. Even though she has lived this moment twice in her lifetime, he still manages to make her jump back and scream.
âRelax, itâs just me!â he said climbing through the window.
Sidneyâs dad came to the door again and recited the whole leaving conversation again. She played along so that he would leave her and Billy alone. He eventually left and Billy shot up from behind the bed.
âClose call!â he shouted. No matter how many times she had heard him say that, she always thought it was cute. She couldnât help but think if he had gone past Caseyâs or not, she really hoped he hadnât.
âIt occurred to me, Iâve never snuck through your bedroom window beforeâ, he smiled.
ââŠAnd now that itâs out of your system-â Sidney attempted to say.
âI was at home watching Television and The Exorcist was on. It got me thinking of us. It was edited for Television, all the good stuff was cut outâ, he said. âTwo years ago, we started off hot and heavy. A nice solid R rating on our way to an NC-17 and how lately things have changed, lately weâre just sort of edited for television.â
âSo you thought youâd climb through my window and weâd-â before she could finish, he interrupted.
âNo, I thought we could do some on top of the clothes stuff?â, he asked sporting a half smile at her.
She couldnât resist that smile so she looked up at him and said âokayâ.
He kissed her softly, pushing her on to the bed. Moving away, he smiled at her and she smiled back. One of his hands took hold of her hand and interlocked his fingers with hers. The other hand moved its way up her leg, slowly, but softly. She knew that movement was coming and she did need to stop him. So she pushed him back up off of her.
âTimes up stud bucket!â she giggled at him.
âGod, you see what you do to me?!â, he whispered at her.
âDo you know what my dad will do to you?â she laughed.
He calmed down and sat next to her on the bed. This didnât happen last time. What if it wasnât meant to happen? He was meant to leave now, she thought. Suddenly, Billyâs cellular phone rang. He reached into his pocket and answered it.
âHello?â, he asked.
âBilly, itâs me. Tonight was amazing!â said the voice on the phone. Sidney could make it out to be Stu.
âWhat the fuck? You did it?â he asked.
âDoneâ, said the voice.
âFUCKRAG, WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE?â shouted Billy as he hung up the phone. Sidney had no idea what was going on or why Billy was shouting at Stu? What did Stu do? Did he kill someone? No, he couldnât have without Billy. Billy was his leader. Why was Billy so angry about it too?
âSid, I need to goâ he said quickly getting up. âIâm sorry, I need to go nowâ he added quickly. He moved towards her and kissed her hard on the lips and darted for the window. He leapt out faster than ever and shot for the distance.
Sidney had no idea what the fuck had just happened, but was it meant to happen? She was confused as hell and only sleep could cure that. She lay in her bed, hoping that she would move forward in real time and that tomorrow would be the right day.

WE ALL GO A LITTLE MAD SOMETIMES - CHAPTER 4
CHAPTER 1 - CHAPTER 2 - CHAPTER 3
There was no way in hell she was going to live through that night again. It was just not possible. What if something went wrong? What if she died? Nope, not going to happen. She would need to give in and have sex with Billy. She didnât even want to look at him, let alone have sex with him. Maybe she could skip that part⊠No, she couldnât. Randy said she needed to not change anything that could affect the future. But she already hadnât lived out this day correctly anyway, so maybe she could just skip the party altogether. Yes, she will do that and the next time she lives it, she will play it out correctly.
âSo, what do you say Sid? It could be funâ, said Tatum looking at Sidney as she flopped about in Stuâs arms.
âI donât know Tatum. Iâm not in the mood for a party. I think I might just go home and watch a movie tonightâ, she replied.
Stu stared at her and was shocked. It was not like Sidney to pass up a small get together with friends.
ââŠBilly wonât be thereâ, said Stu in attempt to bribe Sidney.
âThatâs not the problemâ she said.
âFine, Iâll get Billy to come along then.â, said Stu nodding his head to the side.
âFine, but I wonât be thereâ, Sidney said starting to walk away.
âIâll talk to herâ, Tatum whispered to Stu breaking away from his arms. She went after Sidney and patted her on the shoulder.
âWhatâs wrong with you today? Youâre acting crazy. What has Stu done to make you so mad? He didnât attack you last night Sid. You know he likes to joke around a bitâ, she said softly.
âHe hasnât done anything. Tell him Iâm not mad at him, Iâm just not in the mood to watch everyone get drunk at a party. Iâd rather sit at homeâ, she had to make up some excuse for not wanting to go watch everyone die tonight.
âWell, thatâs your choice Sid. Do you mind if I still go? I donât think Billy will go if you donât go.â
âYou go have fun, I donât want to stop you.â she smiled at Tatum. She would much rather Tatum come over to her house, just so she doesnât get attacked, but thatâs not up to Sidney. âBut if you would much rather come to my house, youâre welcome to.â she added.
âWeâll see Sidâ, she said as they began walking to Tatumâs house.
âCould you give me a lift home?â she said as they arrived at Tatumâs.
âUh, Sure Sid. So I guess youâre definitely not coming to the party tonight, huh?â, she asked.
âNo, Iâm sure.â she replied quickly.
Tatum gave her a lift home and she went inside.
âI might come over tonight if the party is boring or some unwanted people arrive. Ta-ta Sidâ, Tatum said driving off in her small car.
Sidney went inside and straight upstairs to her bedroom. She was going to be alone, but it was much better than living through that entire night again. She wondered what could actually happen if she isnât there and events donât play out like they did 15 years ago. Would Tatum still die and would Billy and Stu still reveal themselves without her there? Only time could tell. Â She picked a movie to keep her occupied. (insert old movie here). She put it in the video player and turned on the television. She sat alone, but kept every possible light on. She only got through half an hour of the movie, before she heard a noise. Fuck, she thought. She hadnât lived through this before, so she actually had no idea what that noise was. She paused the television and went to the window behind her couch. She didnât open it, only looked out of it. No one was there. She was about to turn the movie back on when she heard a knock at the door. It could be Tatum, she thought. Gale must have turned up at the party by now and made Tatum want to leave. She unlocked the door and didnât find Tatum there. Instead it was Billy. She stood in silence and almost shut the door in his face.
âHey, I just need to talkâ, he said in a rush.
âArenât you meant to be at Stuâs?â she asked.
âNo. Why? Youâre not at Stuâs. Youâre hereâ, he said.
âJust go home Billyâ
âSidney, when are you going to realize that I didnât attack you? It wasnât me. I was in jail. I have the prints and the papers to prove itâ
âI know and I believe youâ
âWell⊠whatâs the problem?â he asked her.
âItâs the sex stuff Billy.â
âI would never try and break your underwear rule Sid, you know that.â
âWell, today you said that I would rather accuse you of being a psychopathic killer than touch you.â
âI was angry and I didnât mean it. Iâm sorry. You say stupid things when youâre angry too. I didnât mean any of it. You know me well enough to know that I do care about you. I will wait for you. Iâm in no rush, you come to me when youâre ready and then Iâll be ready tooâ, he said to her, slowly raising his eyebrows, like he always did.
She couldnât help but smile at him; he actually was being sincere and surprisingly calm about all this. Why couldnât this have played out originally?
âYou can come in if you want. Iâm just watching a movieâ, she said.
He looked at her, smiled and walked inside the house. He was staring at her and was clearly expecting a kiss. For some reason, Sidney actually wanted to kiss him back. It was very unusual. Moments ago, she wanted to slam the door in his face, but just seeing him like this really made her remember why she had fallen in love with him. She started at him and he did a little half smile, which made him irresistible. She looked into his eyes, moved closer and gave him a soft peck on his lips. She backed off slowly and rubbed the side of his face. He looked at her and let out a small giggle, which made her bite her lip and look away with a smile.
âI missed youâ, she said to him.
âMissed me? We were only angry at each other for a day?â he said confused.
âBut it felt like 15 yearsâ, she said laughing inside her head. Only she understood the joke.
âWell, youâve got me back nowâ, he said taking hold of her hands.
Why did he not want to kill her now? Something was different. Or maybe he was just waiting to make his move. She guided him to the couch and turned the TV back on. He sat on the couch and she lay her head on his chest and they watched. They were barely there for 5 minutes, before Billyâs phone rang. He looked at it and Sid lifted her head.
âI better go take thisâ, he said. âIâll be right backâ
She felt like telling him off for saying that. Itâs one of Randyâs rules. But he would just laugh at her.
She tried to listen to what he was saying on the phone in the other room.
âNo, I canâtâ, she heard him say. There was a voice on the other line yelling.
âStu, I said no. We canât. Iâm not. I donât want to!â he shouted back and then turned it to a whisper. âStu, I donât feel like doing it tonight⊠or maybe neverâ, he said softly. The voice on the other side got louder but she couldnât work out what they said. âStu, I need to go, Iâll talk to you tomorrow about itâ, he said pulling the phone away from himself.
He walked back to the couch and Sidney pretended she was reading the video case.
âIs everything okay?â she asked.
âYeah, everythingâs fineâ he replied quickly.
âWho was on the phone?â
âOh, it was just Stuâ, he said keeping to himself.
Sidney knew what the conversation was about, yet she didnât ask any questions. Billy didnât seem to want to go through the plan, just yet.
He came and sat next to her and continued to watch the movie. Everything went suddenly quiet between them. It wasnât like that before. She ended up falling asleep on his chest.
The next morning, she woke up in her bedroom. Clearly it wasnât the night after what had just happened, she wasnât in the same clothes.
She could hear her dad downstairs. She remembered today. It was the day of the night when Billy snuck through her window for the first time. This was the day she came back on. Obviously she was brought back to the beginning. Randy had told her that she needed to not mess with anything and to live the days correctly to make them over with. So she needed to do this right from the beginning and on the way, she needed to work out the one thing that needed to be changed.Â
