why do ppl act like the only trauma that can cause traumagenic systems is abuse. like... thats not how trauma works nd ur leading lots of traumagenic systems to self identify as endogenic because they feel their trauma isnt "enough." im pro-endo till the ends of the earth because sysmeds build their definition of traumagenic based on stringent guidelines of which trauma is valid or bad enough.
systems can form after a death of family or friends. systems can form from constant moving or being in a military family. systems can form from medical trauma, frequent hospital visits, or disability.
if it's an adverse childhood experience you have no right to tell someone they weren't hurt enough to be traumagenic. and if you have experienced trauma and are endogenic, you are just as valid. no one deserves to tell you how to exist.
