i wrote a fucked up fic once and it definitely helped. otherwise this is probably not a great habit, i have a tree in my backyard and i stab it with something sharp. it's definitely stress relieving too, and helps when i'm mad LOL

And yeeaahhh unfortunately the stats abt physical expressions of aggression do say they aren't a great way to reduce feelings of aggression but also I've been there. My big thing was smashing up glass stuff with a bat.
That said, physical outlets are still helpful it's just like, running or playing sports. Might I suggest a martial art? I was a competitive wrestler in junior high and it legit was helpful. Love to take a person down tbh.
