Vasorin's tauron strike gets an upgrade that lets you revive the dead if they are in range, even in missions where revives are banned.
wonder if thats just a gameplay thing, or if it can be lore-ified?
I'd classify that as being along the lines of the boosted revive/instant revive stuff from other schools, where it's an extreme outpour of Void energy plus the strong will of the user.
In other words: Microdosing Conceptual Embodiment, where the thing you're embodying is "not stabbed anymore."
It working even while revives are banned is definitely a gameplay thing, though. Some of the gamemode restrictions are pretty difficult to call anything but a meta choice to boost the difficulty, which is likely why they have stuff like Archimedea set up in places with a lot of weird temporal/reality shifting stuff going on.
But, if the rules are already being changed, I think it'd be cool and awesome if someone made something about how, even with the restrictions, their operator/drifter made their own rule. My friends live.
But y'know more elaborate and fleshed out and all (please steal this idea, someone, it'd be SO COOL to read!!!)
